A God On A New Planet

You've been saving up since you got your first job as a delivery driver, but you finally have the money you need to get your own spaceship. All your friends have the latest and greatest super-spaceships, which are fast as all hell but need tons of fuel. You on the other hand are getting yourself the Centauri. While not able to go 100 light years a minute, they're self sustaining and are able to charge their batteries off local stars as you travel. As well, they're well made for long voyages. Considering your goals to move to a new planet by yourself, it seems ideal.

After purchasing your ship, you load up the bare necessities: soil for growing, basic seeds, and your android, Sasha. Sasha is programmed to do all the farming for you as well as control the ship when necessary. She's also able to perfectly emulate a human and her body and face was based on an actress from the 21st century, some woman named Alexandra Daddario.

"Sasha, set a course for the Tadpole Galaxy." You say as you turn to address the gorgeous android.

"Right away, sir." You programmed her to have a British voice, a very popular choice on Earth.

You sit back on your couch, strapping yourself in for the faster than light speed journey. While the ship is made to withstand it and help you survive the pressure, it still is not the most comfortable thing to move at that speed because of the remaining pressure.

You watch as Sasha wirelessly connects to the mainframe, performing the calculations needed for the ship. She stands perfectly still as she does so. You take the time to admire the work of the Skinners in making her look so lifelike. The bright light reflects off her skin, the only visible difference being that the fake skin is less oily than natural skin, making the glisten of her skin less realistic.

Sasha comes up to you, bringing a big red button with her. While entirely unnecessary, as she could start the trip without moving an artificial muscle, the big red button gives you a sense of control and the little click gives you feedback. Humans will never stop loving buttons after all. You press the button and the ship lurches, pushing you back into your seat.

*Note: I will be revising this story as I go along. I'll try not to change content, just improve the writing style.*
