My name's John and I live with my parents. Some would probably scoff at that, but I think it's a good choice. I can save money for my own place. As it turned out, it was a good thing that I lived with them, even at the age of 25.

Both of my parents were in the military. My mom had left the Army when she had me, and my dad retired after 20 years. Little did I know that something strange was about to happen.

It started one morning. I woke up and went to take a shower. I saw a light in the living room, and figured my dad was eating breakfast and doing his daily morning routines.
