Hi, Eos here! I'm hoping I do well with this story, but since I'm pretty new to writing proper coherent shit like this I'm probably gonna have a lot of trouble! Writing convincing, thinking characters is probably going to be my biggest stumbling block. So please, if you have and criticism leave it in the chapter comments, as well as any questions you have. Also, I'm planning on taking a few routes with this story, one will be just the standard student will all normal things, based in a mundane world. Second will be a story that delves into modern magic and the supernatural. The third and final one would be the celebrity storyline, where the main character starts to get with the hotties of Hollywood. I have no idea what priority that these will be placed at, I might work on all three at once and alternate with the postings, or I might finish one branch before I move on to the next, I don't know right now. Also all characters are 18 or above even if not explicitly stated yada yada. Thank you for reading a raving authors ramblings, now ONTO THE STORY!!

William looked out the back window of the rental car, staring at the Los Angeles suburbs as they passed, frowning to himself. All of the high scale houses they passed did little to encourage him even if he knew they were destined for one. He brushed his brown hair out of his face with a slender hand, closing his amber eyes as he sighed.

"I know you wanted to stay back in Vermont, but cheer up sport, there are way more opportunities for you in a big city like this! Think of it, senior year of high school in one of the biggest cities in America!" His father, John, spoke with a slightly gravelly but deep voice. He was a kind enough man, and a good father. He had a typical dad body, not exactly what one would describe as fit, but far from obese.

"Your father's right honey, this is a big chance for you, for all of us as a family! Think of everything we can do here, everything we can see!" His mother spoke up from the passenger seat. While his father was not an ugly man, his mother, Erika, was an absolute bombshell. Standing five foot eight, with a perfect hourglass figure, a toned body, and golden blond hair to match her amber eyes. William was always glad he inherited his mothers looks.

"I guess, still wish we didn't have to move." William mumbled into his fist as he continued to stare out. "I really wish that I could just fucking have stayed. I'm eighteen, they could have just let me. But even if they did where the hell would I go? I can't afford an apartment, or a house. Fuck."

William was pulled out of his thoughts my his mother happily squealing. "We're here! Look at the house honey! It looks even better than before!"

Indeed up ahead on the road stood a beautiful house, more of a mansion really, with a grey roof and white walls leading down to lush grass and greenery. Most of the view of the property, and the yard especially, were blocked by tall shrubbery. As they pulled in the driveway they saw the moving companies trucks already standing outside, the employees already almost finished unloading everything that was brought.

"Mom insisted we bring 'Just the essentials' I wonder what pretentious interior designer they hired to buy all of the new furniture. I hope my rooms bigger at least. Actually wait, this might be a good thing! I might be able to throw a party in this house, our old one was way too small. Maybe I can make some friends after all!"

As they pulled in and they stepped out, Williams height became apparent, standing at six foot, he easily towered over his mother, and his father didn't faire much better. His father looked over at him and his mother as they stepped out onto the cobbled drive. "I'm gonna go make sure those idiots at the moving company didn't break or lose anything. Go inside and check out the house, I'll catch up!"

His mother grabbed his hand, an excited smile on her face. "Come on! You heard your father, let's check it out!"
