Matt was waiting for the bus. Heading home from his summer job as a lifeguard, the twenty-year old Mathew Conner was rather unremarkable. In his twenty years, the most he ever had was his life-guarding gig and an associates degree in history from before he got tired of school. He wanted more from this life. But he couldn't seem to do anything right, and while he liked life guarding, it hardly paid enough for him to have a car, let alone move out from his parents house. Matt rolled his eyes at that thought. He needed to move up in the world.

Matt's mind began to wander fondly to his hot coworkers, when he noticed there was something left on the bus bench next to him.
