"Man, I am soooo bored!" Finn exclaimed, wiggling his arms to emphasize the point. "I think I might be dying of boredom, like, for real." He sat down on their couch with a slump. Jake laughed at his adoptive brother, "Yeah man, me too." He made a face as he looked outside to see a heavy downpour. "I don't know if I want to go out in that, though."
Finn started to move about the house, picking up his backpack, sword and a bright yellow raincoat. "I don't care, brother. I going out, you wanna come?" He looked over his shoulder at Jake, who had curled into a blanket and fallen asleep. "I guess not then." After putting on his coat and backpack, he jumped down the ladder and ran out the front door. "I should go see if someone wants to hang out," He thought to himself as he jogged across the now muddy hills.

Jake opened one eye and looked about, searching for any sign of Finn. "Oh good, I thought he'd never leave. Now I can do my own thing, Jake style." He got up and walked around, wondering what he should do.
