"Evie! Where are you!" You hear your mother Jana call out for you. Sighing you roll your eyes and get up from your little hide away in the edge of the woods where you liked to read. It was quite quiet there. You had just been reading about the history of the kingdoms of men.

"Coming mother!" You yell out as you rush along the path to the village. It wasn't very large but most people there were friendly. Jana was a whore so they didn't have much, they had to rely on the kindness of their fellow villagers most nights but you would work off your stays by cleaning up for your hosts and doing dishes.

"There you are, you're going to give your mother a scare, you should stay closer to the village when you go off by yourself to read." Jana say as she sees the book in your hand. "Yes, I know mother. But its quieter at the edge of the woods. I know it isn't the safest choice but I like it there." You reply abruptly.

"Gods child, you'll be the death of me, I haven't the time to stand here and argue, I have to go and see a man, Lillia will let us sleep in their barn tonight. Go over there and help her with whatever she may need." Jana states before walking off.
