Barbara Gordon, the original Batgirl, is the daughter of Commissioner Gordon. She has been Batgirl for about a year now, and it’s been hectic. Her first outing as Batgirl was an accident. Babs had went to a costume party as Batman, a female Batman anyway, when a low level villain attacked. Using some of the self defense that her father taught her, Babs fought and defeated the villain. Since then Babs has received training from Batman and Robin seperately, she has fought several Gotham criminals, and now she is famous as Batgirl across Gotham City. It’s a pretty strange feeling.

Despite all of this though, Barbara doesn’t feel like Batman trusts her. Robin perhaps trusts her a bit too much, he, Dick Grayson, already revealed his secret identity and everything to her, which is how she has more than a strong suspicion that Bruce Wayne is Batman. She’s kept his secrets but still she feels as though she is an outsider to Batman. Because of this she has done some outrageous things to prove herself to Batman. This has gotten her into lots of trouble over the past year, but so far she’s come out on top. Why should tonight be any different?
