Becoming a Villain for my Superhero Girlfriend

Andrew sat on his couch, idly flipping through channels. His girlfriend Kira wasn't home yet, and if he had to guess why, it was likely because of her saving a busload of passengers on the suspension bridge. As he passed the news channel again, he saw another selection of footage of "Guardian" lifting the bus off the ground. Most people would expect him to be watching her star struck, absolutely enamored with her. And he was, but not because she was "Guardian" but because she was Kira.

When they had first started dating, she had been fun, but of course, the constant disappearing act was tiresome quick. But of course, Andrew had been able to figure out why within a month. Kira's disappearance would always coincide with Guardian's arrival for one, and two, it was very apparent that she was Guardian. Their faces were identical, and of course, he was easily able to pick it out. How no one else noticed was a mystery to him, but then again, most wouldn't think anything of Kira when thinking about Guardian. Guardian was a super powered heroine with super strength, speed, flight, and telekinetic capabilities, though she rarely used them.

As Guardian flew off on the screen, Andrew started a stopwatch on his phone. He wondered how long it would take her to get home this time. She had been restless lately. Very restless. Which of course, meant that she had lots of pent up energy, which could be fun for him, but more often than not, she was going to spend all that energy searching for villains.

"Andrew!" He heard her voice call. "I'm home!"
