Crossover Kitty

Sitting in the driver’s seat of your parked convertible, you lean back and enjoy the view of the sun’s glow over the ocean. Next to you, your new traveling companion is still sleeping. The chloroform her family used on her still hasn’t worn off.

You hope she wakes up in time to see the sunrise. She’s young, slim, and blond, with long hair. She was still in high school, but it’s a safe bet to assume she’s an adult, since there are rules about that here at CHYOO. Not that you’ve had sex with her, but she is naked underneath the two large towels you’ve draped over her.

She moans and starts to come around.

“Rise and shine, sleepyhead,” you murmur softly, not wanting to alarm her. As the sun starts to peek above the horizon, you hear her yawn, start to move, and then finally cry out,

“Oh my god, I’m naked!”

"Yeah, your school uniform was a little too recognizable, so I took it off you and threw it away a few miles back the road." You open up the cooler in the back seat and pull out an ice-cold Guinness. "Want a beer?"

"No, I-I’m only eighteen," she says, breathlessly looking around, trying to get her bearings. "Oh my god. So... wait... did you... do anything?"

“While you were unconscious? Well, I undressed you and I saw you naked – lovely figure, by the way – but no, nothing indecent. My name’s John. Yours?”

“Crystal. Crystal Stoller. Listen, my family is very rich and influential. If you let me go-”

“If I let you go running back to your family, they’d just tie you up and send you back to me again. I can drop you off at the police station if you’d like.”

“Why- wait, why would they do that?”

“Well, your father was kind of naughty, which would have been an embarrassment for the rest of your family, but I agreed to keep quiet about it if your family gave me a few things. I asked for his youngest daughter, along with as much money as I wanted, and they agreed. So far, I’ve collected eight-hundred, American.”

“Only eight-hundred million? My family– ”

“No! No, no, no. Eight-hundred dollars. Cash. I’ll ask them for more later on if I need it. They’ve got a lot of money; they won’t mind.”

She takes a few minutes to watch the sunrise and absorb this information. Then-

“Where are we and what are you going to do next?”

“We’re somewhere in California, and we’re taking on a road trip. You know, see the country.”

“This... can’t be California. The run rises in the East, and-”

“Well, the author wanted us to watch the sun rise over the ocean in California, so let’s not ruin it for him. Also, I’m going to start calling you ‘Kitty’ to justify the name of this story. Plus, ‘Kitty Stoller’ flows off the tongue better. Now is there anywhere you’d like to go?”

“Well, if you’re really giving me a choice, I’d like some new clothes.”

“Okay,” you say, putting the beer back in the cooler. You start the engine and buckle in. “Let’s go.”
