A diary gets released onto the internet as everyone finds about the deepest, darkest, most private secrets that were once locked away in a diary. Perhaps they’re an egotistical jock who will finally be taken down a peg, or maybe they’re a pop star being controlled by her label, finally able to free herself and be free. Whoever it is, I wouldn’t envy them, and yet... maybe I would?

This is clearly a new thing I’m trying. It’s similar to the Rulebooks I’ve seen where people basically come up with their own characters and put them into this one single broad scenario. Except this isn’t a Rulebook type story. Instead, it revolves around the concept that their diary is leaked onto the internet, but they don’t know, not yet.

When you make a new branch, write what that diary entry is. You can write as much or as little as possible, but whatever it is, it should contain some juicy details that will be used against them. If you need examples, look at the ones I’ve written.

Then following that chapter, the adventure begins. How will others react after learning their secrets? How will the victims react when they learn everyone knows? Will they even find out? Do they even know?

That’s all up to you. Make sure to understand the guidelines before adding branches.
