Desperate camping

May, Jane was driving to college like any other week day, dreaming away about how he was going to spend the upcoming summer brake. She's been working hard lately, putting in some extra hours at her temp job at the local bar to save some money for a great vacation! She'd been looking forward to this for months with an exceptionally hard semester she's just about to finish. Obviously all this night time hours made her tired and a bit grouchy, and the day dreaming didn't help either to keep focussing on the road.

BAM, she didn't notice at all the truck reversing out of the company driveway just after the bridge she drove under, and ran straight in the trucks rear spinning her across the street onto the curb through to hit to a standstill against the gate of the car sales place across the street. Legally not her fault, but would she have been a bit more alert she should've been able to prevent this. Her life flashed past her, racing through all that she wanted to do, and that upcoming vacation period.

Now, Jane was not legally at fault, and the truck's insurance would take care of all the financial effects plus a sum of money enough to cover a vacation while waiting for the final settlement terms. But what use was that while she was currently in a hospital bed with pain everywhere and unable to even leave her room?

Luckily, she made a relatively quick recovering and was out of the hospital just in time for the summer break. But a whole new problem arose. Jane was not the type of girl to go and party with friends till she dropped, she rather traveled to see the world. But that often meant sleeping in tents or other tight spaces, and she didn't like traveling alone. Now that wouldn't be a problem, she had enough friends alike, but a quite embarrassing issue was at hand.. Jane needed some medicine to help her sleep since the accident, and that made her not notice the need to pee at night. In essence, she became incontinent at night time, and was bound to wear diapers. She didn't trust any of her friends with that, she didn't want to ruin her reputation by them telling on her and didn't know how they'd respond...

Jane's brother John in the meanwhile came home from his college when summer break began. Moping and complaining how he should have saved a bit more money so he could go places and see some of the world this summer. But he was having a hard time with this semester and had no time to work many hours on top of that. He saw hist sister in a bad mood sitting on the couch and asked "hey Jane, what's up?". Jane replied by telling him "you know the accident I had, and you probably have been told that I now have to wear diapers at night", John nodded, "well, that ruins my vacation plans! I got some money from the insurance company to still be able to have my vacation, but now I have nobody to go with! But you don't look so happy either, John?". Well, John said, "I have the opposite issue. I could find someone to go on vacation with, but I have no money for it after last semester". Jane suggested that maybe they could go together, and so it happened.

Fast forward a week later, and John and Jane set up their tent together in the mountains, and were getting ready to sleep. It was cold, and they couldn't wait to nicely lay in their sleeping sack. On this particular cold night, they decided to join together for some warmth. Jane had put on her last night time diaper, they'd have to buy some new ones the next day, and together they fell fast asleep. John woke up in the middle of the night having to pee desperately, but didn't want to leave the nice warm sleeping bag, and kept squirming around so restlessly not knowing what to do and how to help himself preferably without leaving the tent, that he woke up Jane regardless the medicine. Jane asked John "what's up? why are you so restless". John said, "well, you have it easy, you can just go when you have to. But I have to pee like crazy, and you know how cold it is out and how dark! I don't want to go out there, but don't know what to do!". "Well", Jane said, "I might know a solution..."
