Elixir Inc.

David sat on a stool in the corner of Tim's dirty kitchen while his friend was pacing back and forth, talking like a mad man.

"...and that's where I found the formula" Tim said. "Do you have any idea what this means?"He looked at David with wild eyes.

David hesitated, treading lightly, as his friend had clearly gone mad. "So, you're saying that you've found the recipe for some sort of magical potion that can change you into whoever you want? But, I mean, you realize how that sounds, right?"

Tim was sweating. "You think I'm mad, of course, yeah, I figured you would." He laughed. "Maybe I am! Maybe it only works in my imagination." David snorted in surpise. Was that why Tim had gotten him here, because he had a business degree? There was a strange logic to the madness and David felt sad for his friend. "Tim... If what you're saying is true, then, I mean, who wouldn't want to buy this stuff, it would make you the richest guy in the world. You wouldn't need me."

"No!" Tim almost screamed. "We couldn't sell the elixir itself. They made me swear, I can't give up the recipe, even if I wanted to. Nobody can find out." Tim started rummaging around in his pantry until he found a small, glass jar with some marking on it.

He was clearly paraniod. David didn't know if it was right of him to humor his friend by going along with this, but he was curious.

"Then what is it that we would be selling?"

Tim removed a tiny thing from the jar and placed it into the cup.

"I think it's best that I show you" he said, and drank it.

David stared at Tim as he started to transform.
