My name is Kaitlin. I was always a natural in physical battle, built tougher than most, with a toned body I use my agility and flexibility to my advantage rather than strength. For the uneven fights I was trained to have a golden tongue and quick wits to buy myself time to find a weakness or an escape. When all else fails being a woman has its advantages at times, being an elf I'm widely regarded as stunningly beautiful even amongst my own kind. I was trained to be the ultimate fighter for my city but I was never prepared for the day the Orcs invaded. Razing the city to the ground and killing my people like common cattle I was barely able to escape with my life through the catacombs of the city, swearing revenge as I escaped.
Morning time, I wake up under a wool blanket. My shelter is hardly anything given that I move from place to place. All I have is my leather and a blade. Sitting up I feel the sun glistening on my skin reminding me of my days before the Orcs.
Rolling off the bed, I dress for the day putting on my leather fur as I fit my bracers and place my sheathe along my back. One could look at me and easily underestimate me, something I find useful taking others by surprise. Walking to the door and swinging it open, I ponder my next move.
I could enter the local battle ring where anyone hoping for a few coins can enter and fight whoever else decides they want a cheap amount of coin or thrill.
Or I could head off to Arias the nearest town and see what opportunities may arise there.
Or I can take the fight back to the Orcs themselves.
