"A Boskop mother? must mean you pretty smart." Natalie, one of the college advisers for inhuman students, reviewed the monster's transcript.

She was a 38 year old panther-morph. She was mostly human in appearance, only betrayed by her perky ears and swishing tail. She had a svelte body and dark skin.

"Yes, it's nothing compared to a full Boskop, but it's high for human standards, astronomical for most tentacle beasts." Jur blushed at his boasting. "That's part of why I wanted to attend Pendleton. I'd really rather not spend the rest of my life in the wilds."

"Well, getting enrolled here's a good first step." Natalie smiled, "Do well in your classes and stay within the law and you'll get you citizenship when you graduate."

Natalie didn't bother explaining about grades and class scheduling. Anyone that came into her office would already be well studied, so it was rare that a Pendleton monster would perform poorly as far as academics were concerned. It was far more likely for them to struggle suppressing their inhuman drives. With that in mind, Natalie proceeded to go over the laws Nurik would need to follow within society. It was likewise unnecessary, part of the application process was a test on those laws, but it was University policy. Jur had obviously memorized the speech and mouthed along with Natalie.

"...no drugs you don't naturally produce, no trafficking drugs you do, no assault, no murder, and especially no rape."

Natalie gave a wry smile to Jur's antics. Most students knew the rules by heart by the time she met them, but statistically 15% would be caught breaking one. It was usually a minor infraction. Those students would receive severe punishment, but expulsions were uncommon.

"Welcome to Pendleton University." Natalie stretched out a hand over her desk. Jur curled a vine tendril around her digits. "There's a tour for new students starting in ten minutes. It leaves from the greens, so if you want to go, it's a block south from this building"
