For the Throne

Very mature themes ahead! Non-con, dub-con, dark fantasy, violent action scenes, and corruption. If you are not interested in those, turn away! But you can also select options that are loving and kind, if that is what you like too!

This story must be read in game mode. There are three significant routes that can be attained, mostly based on what transpires during the first night. But, there will be ways to alter your route scores for a little while until that is no longer possible. The stats are hidden, so follow your gut and think through the consequences of your choices. Feel free to spoil what options could have been available using the story map, but maybe try playing it a few times to find the secrets.

Most importantly, have fun you horny perverts!

The night sky is as black as the voids of hell. You don't know why, but you feel as if the stars themselves have retreated into the shadows during these dark days, leaving only the faint echo of what once was. Those tiny and sparse pinholes smattering the sky weakly, feebly and uselessly fighting against the black.

For three weeks it's been all you've had to watch during the stretches of journeying under the night. Hopefully you would be granted reprieve soon, and your destination wouldn't prove to disappoint. The red masks, an old company of bounty hunters and mercenaries you used to work for, was placed within the forests north of here. At least, they were back then.

Your trip hasn't been easy, and the girl you've had along with you has made it even more difficult. Not for any malicious intent on her behalf, but she's not experienced or prepared for this kind of journey.

Two days before you departed, and before calamity befell the kingdom, a woman came to your home in request of services. You thought you had fallen off the map, disappeared from old ways in retirement, but apparently you weren't as effective as you once thought. The woman revealed herself as a maiden of the king's, and informed you that the royal family was jeopardized. An assassination and coup attempt were on the horizon. The bloodline was to be overthrown and wiped out, and when they were gone... well, it would be the end of the current monarchy ushering in an age of tyranny. But, if the king's daughter, the princess Ava, was swept away before the attempt, the bloodline would be preserved to one day return to the throne. The princess would be, the maiden informed you, brought to you the next night would you accept, and she would be replaced in the castle with a body double, a servant girl, who would die for her kingdom. The princess was reclusive, rumored to have been kept hidden by the king himself, so that few knew her appearance. She implored you with a full sense of emotion, begging, practically, for your aid. The decision was a struggle, but it was clear that for the good of the kingdom and its future prosperity, you would need to shepherd the young woman away from harm until she was ready to reclaim the throne.

So here you are. The princess is cloaked in thick, grey fabrics and a massive, heavy hood, trailing weakly behind you. You have the proper defensive equipment for a long haul, but you aren't expecting battle; the maiden who brought you the princess, though she perished in the coup, you think, said there would be no reason for anybody to be looking for the princess if the body double worked. Nevertheless, you know plans don't always go right... and ever since the coup, no proper sort of order has been upheld across the land. It was even safer to stay away from populations, for their very guards were now enlisted by the indifferent and twisted minds of the new monarchy. You don't know who they are, but they have proven to establish a detestable regime. You have needed proper rest for over a week now, and you don't know how long you can go any more.

Throughout it all Ava has hardly spoken a word. She's quiet, and frail, but hasn't complained or fought back against any direction, no matter how senseless it may seem. She's only barely a woman, and appears to be classically a princess visage; blond hair, wavy and long. Pale, fair, and soft skin, though by now broken in by its first hardships, and blue eyes, as weary as her slowed movements. She's hardly moved the hood of her face, so anything specific has been obscured, let alone disrobing the cloak entirely. She seems sincerely concerned about her own safety, and no doubt is mourning her family. In long run, that caution is going to help.

Another night has passed, and your sentry duty lulls longer than any night prior. There isn't anything out there; the the thin and open fields about you don't leave much to the imagination, and the silence of the night makes a racket of even the smallest critter.

Ava is sleeping next to you. While she's been down, her hood has fallen off her head. She looks fair, and gentle. She didn't deserve this. Her father was a good man. She stirs, and wakes, pulling the hood back over her quickly. When she's awake, she relieves you of your duty without many words exchanged.

One more day. You can see forests. Is this it?

_

After the two of you have risen and moved on in the morning, you make good ground and by nightfall you are on the precipice of the forest. There is smoke billowing out from the treeline just off the path leading deeper into the forests. You aren't sure if the camp is still here, it's been a few years, but it was a central hub for a long time. It could be them, or, perhaps, somebody you don't want to run into. The princess hesitates as you draw forward. You could try to sneak through the trees, but you don't know what the princess is capable of. Where do you want to go?
