The story is set in a future alternative world where some key scientific discoveries has lead to a new age of industrial revolution. Humans are a key resource in the new age.

It all started 5 years ago when Emma had just been 18. The space company SPACELINK went out to deep space explorations to find new minerals for human use. They found a mineral named "Ether" and imported to earth for testing purposes. It was a wonder element because it can store energy for long duration when energized with a certain replenishable process. This means no more energy problems for the whole world. It meant better environment and sustainable growth and better economy.

For the women:

At age 18, every woman has to go through an examination process. They were to be given an ID embedded in a bracelet/wristband. All information regarding their sexuality will also be recorded and stored. The bands will also record their current and past status and necessary authorizations when applicable. It also monitored health and prevents abuse.

Since turning 18 and until 28 years, women would become "free use" as human resource for an 'extraction period' of at least 3 days in a year. They are to be drafted automatically or enroll themselves on specific dates. The officials can pick them up or they can arrive themselves at the power plant with residential amenities. There they will be used to energize the minerals. For this, a special butt plug was designed with the mineral. This was planted in the ass of the females.
