Gamer Girl Chronicles

"Argh!" Suzy yelled at the screen as she died yet again. Just as she fought the urge to throw her wireless mouse across the room, she heard chuckling in her ear.

"I told you that you wouldn't be good as a Tank, babe. You're better off as ADC. Now stay in your lane and go make me a sandwich." One of her guy friends, Jake, had wanted to play Mob of Myths (or MoM for short) and she wanted to try playing a tank character rather than an ADC like usual.

"The day I make you a sandwich, bitch, is the day I cut off my left boob." Not wanting to deal with his shit, Suzy took off her mic and took a bite of some pizza she had ordered earlier. It was cold now, but that didn't matter. The second she took a bite of it, however, she felt insanely bloated. Looking over to her right, she saw her tall mirror and her reflection looking back at her.

She felt bloated, but she wasn't anymore than usual. Being half Korean and half white had its advantages and disadvantages. Her boobs, ass, and thighs came from her white side, meaning that they were actually of good size. Her double D cups were a lot harder to find bras for when she went to visit relatives, seeing as they usually didn't go over C. Her ass and thighs fits each other with their wide and plump shapes, but that was probably because of the yoga and track her mother forced her into. The Asian woman didn't want her little girl getting fat like her aunts on her dad's side and her step-dad and older step-brother being pretty heavy health nuts, it wasn't hard to pressure her into following suit.

That metabolism and extra health push helped the rest of her stay lean and even toned up enough to give her an edge in her self-defense classes. But regardless of how strong and healthy she got, she was stuck at a five foot and two inches height that made her look as intimidating as a squirrel.

After finishing the slice of pizza and putting her long, dark brown hair into a high ponytail, she put her headset back on... only to be assaulted by Jake's voice again.

"Now that I've explained to you the importance of tanking, want to just give up and go back to being the ADC that follows me around?" Jake was a complete dick when he was proven right on something.

"Come on, Jake. Leave her alone. Can't we just take a break from MoM and look over that sale I just mentioned?" Thankfully, Gavin was there to mediate things or Suzy would've really hurt Jake's feelings. And she couldn't resist the world "sale" when it came to gaming.

"Sale," she asked, her voice lifting almost immediately. It was the only time anyone might have mistaken her for the traditional type of girl.

"Yeah," Gavin replied excitedly. "I know the convention is this weekend, but Mist is having a sale on a new game that looks badass!"

The chat program that they usually used suddenly lit up her task bar with the link Gavin just posted. Suzy immediately clicked it.

Sure enough, Mist was having a special for a new MMORPG where instead of playing heroes, you played monsters. It was supposed to be the usual sixty bucks, but they were selling for a surprising ten dollars.

"Whoa... Why so cheap?" Jake's asshole tone had disappeared. Now he just sounded skeptical. "Did it bomb or something?"

Gavin laughed at the mere mention of it doing horribly. "You're so funny, Jake. Really... I'm dying here."

The other two waited impatiently for him to finally answer seriously. "Oh, uh... No. If you go to their devblog, it apparently is a special just for the first hundred customers to purchase it. And you can start buying it the day after tomorrow."

Suzy gasped. "But that's Con day! I've been working on my cosplay all year! I can't miss it!"

Jake scoffed over the mic again. "The convention is for two days, Suzy. What harm could it be to miss a few hours of the first day?"

"Ummmm... everything?" Gavin and Suzy responded simultaneously.

"That's when the good panels happen and not to mention, you won't get a good selection of stuff at booths if you go too late. And I want my cosplay to be noticed by people other than weebs!" Suzy felt her heart break as she thought over the convention while also reading over the game's description.

"Yeah... But this game looks so cool. We could go around raiding human villages, stealing from merchants, and eventually become bosses," Jake was already sold it seemed.

But to be honest... so was Suzy.
