As Jao Entered The Town Of Kuoh, He Knew His Contract Would Likely Cause Him To Butt Heads With The Gremory and Sitri Families Situated There. But He Was No Ordinary Mercenary Of The Supernatural, He Was A User Of Three Sacred Gears, One Of which Was A Longinus. Twice Critical, His Original and Second Favorite Sacred Gear Before His Augmentation and The Later Acquisitions. Twilight Healing, a Sacred Gear Of Considerable Rarity Which Like His Longinus Was Attached To His Soul During A Botched Removal and Sealing. Removing Sacred Gears, That Was Something He Found Quite Distasteful, But He Saw It As A Necessity In Some Cases. He'd Been Hunting The Ones Responsible For His Fathers Disappearance For Seven Years, and Had Taken The Twilight Healing From One. Jao Knew It Was Highly Likely The Twilight Healing and Annihilation Maker Were Not The Only Sacred Gears Attached To His Soul, During The Botched Removal, Since A Dozen Sacred Gear Users Were Having Their Gears Removed During That Time, and When The Fallen Angels Raided It, The Raid Caused The Spellwork To Veer Off course and Into Him, Thus splintering His Soul Into Fragments That Were Slowly Repairing Themselves. Each Fragment Held A Sacred Gear Since His Angelic Powers Were Telling Him Three Fragments Had Rejoined To The Host, and Each Fragment Had Either Twilight Healing, Twice Critical, Or The Annihilation Maker. He'd Used His Gears To Build Up A Reputation Of Well-Deserved Skill, Efficiency, and Capability.

It Seems This Reputation Was Something Of A Liability Because The Moment I Stopped To Use The Bathroom, I Was Cornered By Devils While Pissing. "Was It Really Necessary To Corner Me While I Was Taking A Piss? It Would've Been Decent To Let Me Let It Out and Zip Up Before Cornering Me." Says Jao. "Quite, These Are My Anti-Satan Golems, They Manipulate Arcane Energies Drawn From The Archangel Juice In Me That Makes Them Especially Lethal Against Satan-Class Devils, I've Formed Them At Half-Power Because At Full They'd Kill You and That Is Hardly Worth The Trouble In The Wroth Of Gremory and Satan Lucifer. No Let Me Be Clear, I Have A Contract Here, and Honor Demands I Fulfill It, Therefore It's In Your Best Interest To Let Me Do It, Fail To Do So and Next Time I Will Have To Kill You." Says Jao As He Snaps His Fingers Causing His Golems To Snuff Her Demon Guards and Advance On Rias, Who Launches Power Of Destruction and Proceeds To Loose Her Nerve When The Destruction Bounces Off The Golems and Back At Her. Rias Barely Manages To Dodge Her Own Redirected Attack, and It Is At That Point That Jao Uses His Magic Circle To Vanish To His Intended Location.

Jao Arrived At His Rendezvous Point To Meet With His Team Of Exorcists and Healers, Irina Shidou, Lint Selzen, Asia Argento, and Xenovia Quarta. Jao Had Slept With Xenovia One Time Before Beginning A Three-Person Relationship With Irina and Lint. He Was The Planner and Lead Fighter, Irina Was The Support, Xenovia The Reserve Fighter, and Asia The Healer. Lint Was The One In Charge Of Keeping Them Together and Keeping Them Supplied With Equipment and Information In General. Jao Had A Serious Grudge Against Lint's "Brother" Freed However, Enough That He'd Go Out Of His way To Kill Him, and Keep Him Dead. He Always Fulfilled His Contracts, and He Always Kept His Promises, So When Freed Botched One Of Jao's Jobs As A Way To Play With Lint, Jao Took It Personally and Went After Him. By The Time Jao and Freed Crossed Swords A Small Army Of Reincarnated Angels Had Been Butchered By Freed, Two Of Jao's Friends Among Them, and It Was Then That Jao Awakened His Annihilation Maker. Jao Broke Every Bone In Freed's Body, But The Lucky Bastard Was Alive, He Made A Game Of Killing Jao's Former Friends and Girlfriends, So When A Contract Was Sent To Him For Freed's Head, He Gladly Accepted. Jao Nevertheless Felt Uneasy About The Whole Thing, Something Wasn't Adding Up Here. Freed Had To Know He Was In Town and That He Was After Him, But The Fact Freed Hadn't Made Himself Known Was Unsettling.

Jao Walked Up The Steps and Shrugged Off His Clothes Before Stepping Into The Purified Waters In The Church They Were Holed Up In. He Took Each Step With Restraint, The Water Held Holy Oil, and The Temperature Was Barely Bearable For Even Him. Jao Took Frequent Baths In This Type Of Oiled Water, Using His Angelic Flame Ability To Induce A Holy Steam Bath Of Sorts. It Was At This Point, Lint and Irina Joined Him. Both Girls Frequently Took Advantage Of His Daily Routine, and took Every Effort To Enjoy Every Minute Of It. Lint's Ashen Grey Hair and Irina's Golden Orange Locks let Down and The Three Of Them Enjoyed The Heat Of The Bath and Each other. "Commander! We've Got Company!!" Shouts Xenovia. "So Do I!" Jao Calls As He Tries To Ignore Xenovia. "Well, Well, I Didn't Know It Was Bath Time." Says A Familiar Voice, Causing Jao and Lint To Tense Up. "Freed." Jao Says In A Strained Voice. The Water Begins To Bubble and Boil and Jao Stands Up. He Shakes With Fury As He Dons A Simple Robe and Walks Out Of The Bath. "Brother, Please, Surrender." Says Lint.

"I'm Not Here For You Sister Dearest, I'm Here For The Blonde Brat! Or Rather I Should Say, We're Here For The Blonde Brat!" Says Freed As Four Fallen Angels Appear. "Raynare." Says Jao. "Jao, Been Awhile." Says The Groups Leader. "Yes, It Has, I'm Gonna Take A Wild Guess and Assume Your After Asia's Sacred Healing, But Remember The Explosion? That Blast Gave Me Twilight Healing Too, Take Me Instead, and You Can Gain Annihilation Maker." Says Jao As He Manifests Ten Anti-Fallen Angel Golems To Prove His Point Before Disabling Them. "Well Boss?" Asks Freed. "Take Them Both!" She Commands and Jao Immediately Kills Raynare's Groupies Before Engaging Her and Freed. "Lint, You and Irina Are To Get Asia Out Of Here Now, Xenovia I Need You To Help Me Beat Them Back!" Says Jao As Each Girl Nods and Proceeds To Her Assigned Task. "You Betrayed Once Before Ray, and I Forgave You For That, But I Only Because Of The Reward I Got From It, Now I Will Not Repeat My Mistake. Freed, I'd Say I'm Disappointed, But Let's Be Honest, Your Whole Existence Is One Big Disappointment." Says Jao As He Sends The Two Backwards, "Xenovia, Take My Swords and Run. I'm Gonna Destroy Them Even If It Costs Me My Life. Twice Critical, Twilight Healing, and Annihilation Maker, Balance Break!" Shouts Jao As He Simultaneously Users His Three Sacred Gears In Balance Breaker Mode.

Xenovia Scoops Up His Blades and Runs, Despite The Reservations She Has. "Jao." Shouts Xenovia. "I Know, Tell The Girls and Yourself, Tell Them I Love Them." Says Jao As His Body Begins To Degrade Under The Strain Before Jao Launches His Last Ditch Attack Against The Combined Powers Of Freed's Holy and Demon Swords and Raynare's Fallen Angel Abilities. Jao Begins To Weaken, and When A Massive Explosion Of Demon, Fallen, and Angelic Energy Erupts Blowing The Church Sky High, Everything Is Faded Away.
