In the Eye of the Storm

June 1st not only marks the beginning of the hurricane season, but it also often marks the busiest time in the life of a Weather Channel meteorologist, and none are busier than Stephanie Abrams.

That's because she made her name for two things: being hot, and being the one in the eye of the storm between June 1st and November 30th, which is the length of the Atlantic hurricane season.

So as she gets called into a TWC meeting about her first potential destination for the season, she is looking forward to the rush of covering the storm and being there for the people who need her most.

But she's also looking forward to being the one all the guys ogle as she walks the beaches of America ahead of the storm washing ashore.

"What do we have this time Pete?" she asked her producer/photographer at the meeting, having already been following the progress of the potential first big storm of the season.

"Well Steph, as you know this one might have eyes on the US coast," he tells her, pointing out an area between Florida and the Texas/Louisiana border that are in the early cone, "and we're going to be discussing where we think might be the best place to send you."
