If you don't enjoy the kinda things that involve excessive amounts of bodily fluids, transformations, gender altering, furries, mutations, biomass, tentacles, non-con, degrading, or anything else that can be sensitive to certain people, you probably won't like this. If you do, than take a peek at a chapter or two. Happy reading!)

Diseases, viruses, and parasites are a very common problem in today's world that many medical researchers battle each day for cures and treatments to overcome them. That is what the scientists who work for the global corporation known as Jefferson Bio-Test try to accomplish in their research and experiments, along with developing certain recreational meds such as pain killers, male enhancement pills, antidepressants, etc. Recently though, scientists in the Biohazardous Treatment Division of their facility in East Tennessee had discovered a new virus decimating the local deer population and showing signs of being contagious to human beings.

The lead researcher of the Biohazardous Treatment Division, Doctor Mallory Bach, ordered for the complete containment of the virus and all instances of it to be record and contained to prevent it from spreading any further, that and to also corner the market on a cure for the virus, then release it back into the deer population to let nature take its course. She ordered all hazmat specialists, and any other personnel, to refrain from informing any local civilians or law enforcement of the situation as they work to contain every single contaminated cell and surface. After doing this, the scientists focused on a cure for the virus noticed that it had mutated into several different strains, each one focused on attacking the brain and a handful of important organs by killing off cells and turning them into stronger versions of the original strain, acting faster and faster with every cell, leading to death within a day, maybe even an hour. And on top of all that, the strains are highly contagious, able to be transmitted through everything from physical contact to air depending on which one.

Through their experiments, the accidental exposer of samples to certain chemicals and unintended crossing with other diseases, viruses, and parasites within their physical archives, they noticed that the strains will mutate and change in unpredictable ways based on what they are exposed to. They will take anything and use it to improve themselves, making them even more deadly and harder to deal with, amounting to more drawbacks than progress. One of their biggest drawbacks was a lab fire resulting in the accidental release of several altered samples from containment into the surrounding area through airvents and sink drains, proving the strains to be resilient enough to break lockdown and quarantine prodicals. Because of the fire, almost all records on the altered strains had been lost making it impossible to determine which ones breached the lab and escaped. Despite this, Dr. Bach ordered personnel to continue research on the remaining strains along with dispatching investigators and hazmat teams to search for the lost strains and prepare to contain any public outbreaks that may accure because of them.

(At least, that's my story.)
