Isabelle the Eternal

At first there was nothing. Then a faint sound, like a single rock falling down a mountainside. But as the sound continued, it grew louder and louder until it was as loud as an avalanche, and then silence once more. But something was different, Isabelle had been awakened by a much more subtle sound, the beating of a single heart.

She stood from the small stone coffin she had been placed in and shook off the thick layer of dust as she looked around. The room was the same, a circular stone room, the carving of a sun rune above the coffin though there was now a large crack running along its surface, breaking the magical seal that kept her sleeping for so long.

Isabelle slowly shuffled towards the archway, inside was a simple rectangular room. Along the sides were statues of the crusaders who had locked her away, their metal coffins in the wall behind them as they "guard the world against such an evil, even after death".

Much more interestingly, on the other side of the room, the entrance had caved in, and inside was a villager boy who scrambled to try to get the debris clear.
