Island Hiking Adventure

You arrive at port at around 10:30 am, all the shops in the small town are open and the firsts of the hundreds of tourists that flood the area yearly are rolling in.

There are two islands to hike. The north is the larger of the two so you could easily be on your own, its more "natural" with only a few buildings, mostly at the dock but there are a some old barns and farmhouses scattered across the island. There are only small dirt foot paths so you'd be in for a lot of walking, you can camp anywhere so you can get close to some really beautiful spots, not may people travel this island and its for more advanced hikers.

The southern island is about half the size of the northern island and gets the most visitors. mostly day trippers. kids and the elderly who walk the main trails to see the lighthouse and old farmlands. There are three designated camping sight zones spaced across the island, mostly on the water with great views of the mainland. It will be an easier hike with your gear.
