Island Myth

Tom sat on a small hill. He had a good view of the beach and the ocean. He was thinking about the report he would write. Tom was on assignment from the State Department. He was working as an independent investigator under contract. In the past he had been to a war zone, an isolated village, a crowded Eastern city and other places but he had never been sent to a tropical island paradise in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. His job was to assess the safety of the region for American tourists.

Whenever the State Department became concerned about possible risks for travelers there would be an investigation and a bulletin would be issued. Any traveler could access the information before making plans for a business or vacation trip.

There have been reports of young women being molested while sleeping on the beach. Tom was assigned to look into it.

He had followed a routine established during his many previous jobs. He first read the dossier which was assembled by the government. It contained copies of all the information the department had collected. There were police reports and interviews of alleged victims. There were newspaper clippings and bits of information that had been forwarded from government employees stationed on the island.

The complaints were all similar. The young woman would fall asleep on the beach. When she woke her clothing had been removed. The clothes were cut off and left lying on the beach under her. She did not remember seeing or hearing anyone. There were no signs of trauma. None of her belongings had been stolen.

While reading the verbal accounts of the victims Tom sensed no fear or even concern. It seems that the women were not particularly bothered by what happened. Usually it was a boyfriend or husband or parent who brought the victim to the authorities.

The next step in the investigation was to find out as much as possible about the location. Tom discovered that this was a big island. It was renowned for its beaches. It was just starting to be developed as a vacation destination.

In the interior dormant volcanoes were covered with tropical forests. Polynesians had settled in the mountains many generations ago. The natives were generally friendly. They lived in small clans. Their religious beliefs had not been studied by scholars from the Western world but there was one myth that seemed to intrigue everyone who knew the island.

The natives worshiped a kind of giant insect. It was said that this bug required intercourse with a woman. The ancient legend described an agreement between these insects and the native ancestors. The insects would promote tranquility and harmony between humans in exchange for sex. The legend also predicted that if the humans left the island the insects would die.

This legend was so powerful that women of all ages, wives and daughters, were sent to sleep on the beach to service the insects. It was considered the duty of all men and women on the island to sustain their benefactors.

Tom had pondered this story. He tried to think how such a legend could arise. It was common for people crowded together to be jealous and fight. He could see how this myth could help maintain peace. If a girl had a boyfriend she could go out at night saying that she needed to do her part for the community. A wife could take a lover without suspicion. A young man with no wife or lover would have opportunities. Maybe this was one of those free-love native populations who explained their way of life through this story.

The last step in his investigation involved traveling to the locality and making a personal assessment. On some of his previous assignments there was quite a bit of danger. Tom thought he was going to enjoy this trip. He wondered why he was given this particular job. Maybe someone in the department owed him a favor. Or maybe he was picked because he was a professional and would take the job seriously.

Tom spent time in the local bars and tourist areas. He tried to get a sense if there were locals or foreigners who were trying to get the attention of young women. Maybe they would find a woman and get her drunk or give her drugs and then take her to a remote location to abuse her. They could threaten to blackmail her if she complained. They could tell her the story of the myth and make her use that for a cover story if a husband or family member questioned her. This scene would make the island dangerous. He could visualize a woman becoming anxious leading to her disappearance.

On the other hand, everyone else could access the same information he found about the island. It was likely that all the vacationers were aware of the myth. Perhaps it was one of those group things that people devise. They could dare each other to have sex with the natives and claim they were attacked by a bug. This could be one long self-perpetuating joke.

Tom did not find any undesirables trolling for women. He decided to survey the beaches. He spent several days looking at women sleeping on the beach. It seemed like there was an unusually large number of young beautiful women sleeping on this island's beaches. He had watched quite a few of them.

He was also looking for single men or groups walking up and down the beaches looking for women to attack. In general, he did not see any suspicious activity. People here kept to themselves. The beaches were long and sinuous providing many secluded areas.

Tom had positioned himself on a sandy hill. Just below him toward the ocean lay a young woman sleeping. He thought he recognized her. Her dark skin and small bikini made it likely she was with a group at his hotel that arrived from Brazil. He tried to position himself to have a good view but not look like he was a voyeur. Were she to awaken she would probably have thought the worst.

He had a small powerful telescope supplied by the department. It was amazing the kind of equipment you could request for an assignment like this. He draped a tablecloth over the telescope and a picnic basket in the vain hope that anyone stumbling upon him would think that he was simply out having a picnic by himself in the sun. It is not likely that anyone would have been fooled. Lucky for him the beach was deserted.

Through the telescope he could see her long legs, flat stomach and small breasts. Little droplets of sweat formed on her upper lip. She adjusted her position in the sand occasionally but generally slept peacefully.

Tom was thinking about the report that he would have to write. He would say that his research revealed no sign of danger to American travelers. He would say that it was likely the stories were harmless fibs. Whether they were meant to cover up extra-relational trysts or simply good fun he could not say.

He took another peek through his telescope. There was something in the field of vision that he had not noticed before. It seemed to be a stick pushed into the sand just beyond the girl. He took his eye away from the telescope and raised his head. What he saw was hard to believe. There was a giant insect standing on the sand motionless

It was about six feet long. The thing was standing on four legs that stuck out from its midsection. It looked somewhat like a giant mosquito but its body and head were different. The midsection contained eight legs. There were a pair in front and another in back for support. There were two middle pairs as well.

The tail section tapered almost like a wasp. The head section had large eyes and pinchers and a rolled up proboscis. It stood motionless with only its eyes turning slightly this way and that. It seemed to be assessing the woman sleeping.

Tom had a brief thought that maybe he should run down to help but his curiosity caused him to simply watch. After what seemed like forever but was probably only a minute the insect moved close to the woman and turned around until the tip of its tail section dipped down to almost touch her lips. Tom could see a glistening drop forming at the end of the tail. The drop touched her lips. She licked reflexively. He could see her throat moving as she swallowed. The insect moved away.

Tom watched through the telescope. There did not seem to be any severe reaction. The girl's body relaxed but she did not seem paralyzed. She had no difficulty breathing. In fact, her breaths became deeper. She no longer fidgeted. She seemed quite comatose.

She was lying on her side. The insect moved forward. It reached out with one of its middle legs. These legs were covered with hairs. They looked soft. It stroked her back until she turned over. Now she lay quietly sleeping on her back. The insect quickly moved around her. It used its pinchers to deftly cut the strings of her bikini. The small pieces of bikini crumpled in the sand beneath her.

Through the telescope Tom could see the woman breathing deeply. She would purse her lips with each exhalation. Her nipples freed to the air were hard. The insect positioned itself at her head and then marched down her body until it was standing above her with its head over her pelvis and its tail near her face. The tail dipped down again. A small droplet touched her lips. She smacked and swallowed.

There were two middle pairs of legs. The rear legs had sticklike fingers. It looked like the insect was carrying chopsticks. Each pair of sticks trapped a nipple like a clamp. Through the telescope Tom could see each nipple stiffly poking up through the clamp that held it.

The forward pair of hairy legs stroked her thighs and stomach and then moved down to the labia. The labia were swollen. The hairy batons pulled them apart to reveal a glistening engorged pussy.

Tom was glued to his telescope. He was fascinated as he watched this methodical rape of the young woman. The proboscis unrolled to reveal a swelling at its end the size of a large sausage. It plunged this apparatus into the girl's vagina. She separated her knees exposing herself for the penetration

The insect pumped its organ rhythmically into her vagina at a rate causing maximum stimulation just short of orgasm. Even through the telescope Tom could see that she was producing large quantities of lubricating fluids. They settled into a steady rhythm. She would flex her pelvis and push up as the insect pushed in.

The chopstick legs would occasionally squeeze her nipples causing her to arch her back. After about 15 minutes the tail again dipped down and deposited a drop of fluid on her ips. She fell deeper into sleep.

Tom could see that the insect was suctioning up all of the secretions from her vagina. Now he could understand the insect's motivation. It needed the woman's fluids. It was using her as a source of protein.

As she fell into a deep sleep the insect pulled out of her vagina, gently stepped away and flew off. Tom immediately went down to investigate. She remained asleep. Her breathing was deep and her nipples hard. There was a little bit of dried crust on her lip. Tom tried without success to scrape off a specimen. He decided to taste it. It did not look like she was going to wake up for a while. He moistened his finger and applied it to her lip. Some of the crust dissolved.

He licked his finger. It was sweet like nectar. He involuntarily swallowed several times. Tom could feel his body become warm. He was a little dizzy. His muscles relaxed but did not become weak. He felt invigorated rather than tired. The blood rushed to his nipples and penis. He felt overwhelming need for sex.

Tom pulled off his T-shirt and shorts. He moved his body over the woman's. As he hung over her on his hands and toes his hard cock hovered just above her vagina. He lowered himself onto her. She spread her legs welcoming him. He easily slipped into her. He slid in and out faster and faster until they both came. Tom hoped that she was on the pill as he filled her with his cum.

He knew that she would wake up in the next few minutes. Tom ran back to get his things and then returned to his hotel. He was scheduled to stay on the island for another two days.

He wrote his report just the way he had planned. He noted that the insect myth was not harmful and that he found no reason to advise American tourists to avoid the island.

He checked with the authorities to see if anyone reported an attack. They were used to him asking these questions. They said no one had come forth. As Tom was leaving the island he thought that maybe some day if he ever did get a vacation he would come back.
