Journey of the Lost Maiden

You slowly open your eyes, the sound of distant rumbling waking you from your sleep. You feel the soft hay lightly hold your body afloat. A red glow is streaming past the cracks in of the wooden walls of the barn, warming your cheeks. You blink a few times to rid yourself of your drowsiness.

"Oh, no!" You realize what's just happened. You had fallen asleep in the hay of the cow barn. You were supposed to milk the cows before sunset and you have managed to milk no more than a bucket full before deciding to rest your head a bit. The landlady will surely scold you once she finds out you have been sleeping instead of doing your proper duty as a milkmaid. "You fell asleep again, didn't you, Luna! No dinner tonight," you mimic the landlady in a scratchy voice before giving a sigh.

You quickly jump up and dust yourself off. You pat your long milkmaid skirt and apron down, you brush your tight leather corset clean, and you pick any loose hay stuck in the bosom of your white blouse. You pout slightly to yourself as you notice the size of your breasts. Though the rest of your body is shapely, your breasts are no bigger than handfuls.

You move your hands to your copper colored hair, which is braided in a single tail, and brush any loose ends down. You're the very image of a beautiful milk maiden with beautiful eyes and soft skin. Many of the men of your small village have tried to court you, but you've always been mindful of your job first, leaving little room for romance. Not to mention your shyness keeps you hidden at home or at the cow barn through most of the day, and your landlady's constant haggishness has scared away most possible suitors. You still keep hope that your maiden heart will one day be swept away by the man of your dreams.

You quickly shake your head as you realize that you're starting to day dream again, knowing full well that you have to quickly milk the cows as much as you can. As you gain determination to do so, you realize one small detail: all the cows are gone from the barn. Your heart skips a beat as you realize that the barn door was left open by you and the cows must have wandered out.

You quickly stride over to the large barn doors in alarm, hoping to spot the cows before your landlady does. But as you step outside, you spot something unexpected, something you would never imagine you would see in your life time.

Your entire village is set ablaze. The red glow warming your cheek wasn't the warmth of the sunset but the heat of the fires burning the wooden houses around you. You see green men, some on foot and others riding horses, running through your village, pillaging it. "Orcs!" you realize. They ran amuck in their leather and iron armor, slaying men with their crude weapons. Alongside them were short goblins, aiding in the orcs' conquest.

You notice that the orcs do not kill the women, but instead carry or drag them away. You even notice a pair of orcs stripping a girl in the distance, before using her body for their own pleasure. The very sight makes you turn to look in another direction. As you do, you notice a single orc look toward you. Your heart jumps and you quickly retreat back into the barn, out of sight of the invaders.

Your heart won't stop beating. You're scared of what the orcs might do to you if they catch you. You press against the wall of the barn, trying to stay out of sight. "Slay the men! Take the women! Burn the village!" you hear the orcs chant behind you.

You pray that the orc that saw you won't pay any attention to you. But even if he does not, it won't take long for others to find you here.

You can already hear the sound of the invaders marching outside the barn, moving closer. Your eyes notice the stack of hay in the corner of the barn. Then your eyes dart to the stack of pitchforks. Finally, you spot the small door at the other side of the barn. You have to make a decision and quick.
