For Ron Stoppable, life had never been better.

He just recently graduated from high school, he and Kim Possible were a happy couple, his parents had adopted a new baby sister that thought he was the greatest, and to top it off colleges and universities were knocking down his door to admit him on full scholarships (saving the world from hostile alien invaders via use of mystical monkey powers did gather him a tiny bit of fame.) Because of this he was no longer even afraid of what would happen when Kim left for college in the fall as they were both set to attend the same school.

It was the middle of July now, about a month and a half after graduation, and Ron was spending some quality time baby sitting his little sister when the doorbell rang. Now, nothing seemed abnormal about that until Ron checked who it was a realized it was Kim.

“Hey KP,” Ron said as he opened the front door, “You know you’re always welcome in mi casa; there’s no need to ring the bell.”

“We need to talk Ron. Can I come in?” Kim asks, her voice trembling.

Ron had only known Kim to be afraid a handful of times in her life, at least to the point of it being apparent.

“Of course Kim, come in and sit down. I hope you don’t mind but I’m watching Yono while my parents are out….” Ron said.

“Oh good, your parents are gone. I was hoping to talk to you without them interrupting.” Kim interrupted him as she walked into Ron’s living room and sat down on the couch.

“Kim, what is going on? Whatever it is we’ll get through it like we always do just clue me in as to what’s going on.” Ron says as he sits down next to Kim.
