Jack's family just moved from a small town in Maine to Phoenix, Arizona. His dad got transferred. Jack wasn't all that upset, he didn't leave behind an enormous amount of friends. His sister Beth took the news a little harder. She had to leave her boyfriend Vince. She said they were going to try long distance, lets see how long that lasts.

He was pretty excited to start fresh, he didn't have great memories of Maine. It was all just bullies and overcast. He didn't know if he would love the desert, but it had to be better than torrential rain. A new friend he had was a girl he met online playing Overwatch. Her gamer tag was GerbelZelle18. He didn't even know her real name, he always just called her Zelle. Jack's gamer tag was LobsterBoy919, but he told her his name was Jack. They exchanged phone numbers 2 weeks ago and text regularly. Jack's never seen a picture of her, he hopes to change that.

Jack's 18th birthday was a few months ago, and he's still never had a girlfriend. He's never even kissed a girl before. A girlfriend isn't necessarily the goal, but he'd like to expand his horizons. He hopes a new city and a fresh start will help his achieve that.

It's the night before his first day of school at Bladmore High, he's having trouble sleeping.
