Madeline's College Years

After I bid my parents goodbye, I set off to find my room. The start of the fall season was hectic. The freshman class needed directions to almost everywhere. Luckily, I had gone through this mess only last week, and so had a head start on the class. I signed in to the west dorm and followed the throng to the 3rd floor, where my room was.

When I opened the room, I saw two beds, one on either side of the room. At the foot of each bed was a desk. In between the beds were two standing wardrobe closets. There was a good-sized rug on the floor in front of the closets. Sheets and a blanket and pillow were neatly folded at the foot of each bed. A full length mirror stood on the wall right next to desk.

Looking at the other bed I wondered when my new roommate was going to check in and who it's going to be. I opened my bags and put my clothes away. I put my amazing amount of books on the desk, and then made the bed. Once finished, I put together my little bookshelf and placed it next to the desk. It fit perfectly between the desk and the wall on my side. I put away my books, put my supplies in the drawers, put my laptop on the desk, then decided to lie down.
