“Are you sure this is the right place toots?” The gruff cabbie asked as his car continued down the long and winedy drive way.

Ellie glanced down at her written directions once more and then back out the window.

Lush trees blocked her view on both sides, the leaves eager to spring to life again now that winter was finally over. Reddish orange light of the evening filtered through the leaves in a beautiful display that this city girl was unaccustomed to.

“Hey, Babe, you listening to me?”

The gravely voice of her driver snapped her back to reality. Comparing her directions to the route they had already taken she knew they had to be going the right way and almost there.

“Yes, this has to be the right way. We are bound to be in the home stretch.”

She almost added something about not being his “Babe”, but as she was about to do so she eyed her ticking fare. It was getting close to all the cash she had left. And with it ticking up more and more every second, at this rate she might have to ask for an advance on her first day to cover the fare. Not the sort of first impression that she wished to make on her new employers, the Forges.

Just then the cab turned another corner and a large stone and iron gate blocked their path. Behind it a large house could be seen. A camera mounted on the gate turned and focused on the car. What appeared to be an intercom in a small stone pillar next to the gate crackled to life as the cabbie rolled his window down.

“What can I do for you Lenny?” A feminine voice asked over the speaker.

Ellie looked on as “Lenny” leaned out the window to answer.

“Hello Mrs. Forge, I got your new maid here, uh….”

“Ellie” Ellie piped up.

“…Ellie. She says you are expecting her.” Lenny finished.

“Oh yes of course. Let me open the gate and you can bring her right to the front door.”

The gate opener shuddered to life as the gate was pulled aside to allow them entry.

Ellie pondered the exchange her cab driver and her new employer had just engaged in as the vehicle rolled toward her new home.

“Do you know the Forges well?” she asked

Lenny let out a single chuckle.

“Ha, hardly at all really. I know they are loaded, but that’s pretty common knowledge. I see the wife out and about in town sometimes, doing her errands I suppose. Guess that will be your job now, haha. But damn, is she a fine ass women if I do say so myself.”

Ellie rolled her eyes. “ But she knew your name though.”

Lenny shrugs as the cab slowed under the car port. “I don’t know HER first name, and that’s the truth. From what I have heard from others she seems to know most people’s names around here, but it’s a small town.”

Ellie considered this as she pulled the latch to open the door but nothing happened.

“Excuse me” She said as she indicated the locked door.

“Excuse me” Lenny echoed as he tapped the fare indicator. It read $173.14

Fuck! Ellie thought to herself. She only had 150 in cash on her. She handed him the wad of cash. As he started to count it she said.

“That’s all I have on me. I have my bank card, or maybe I could write you a check….”

Lenny finished counting the cash and then turned to smile slyly at her.

“Sorry doll face, I only accept cash. But I’m sure if I explain the situation to the Forges they would cover it. No doubt it’s like pennies to them.”

His eyes narrowed in a way that made Ellie uncomfortable.

“But I’m getting the sense that you would want to avoid doing that on your first day eh? I can understand that. Well then, your a pretty young thing, maybe we can work something……else…..out.”

Ellie’s heart sank.

I am considering having this be a bit more TRUELY episodic. Leave a comment before I publish the next chapter with which of the outcomes you would like to see. Then whichever has the most votes is the way the story will go for now. Im also not promising that EVERY chapter end will be like this but I thought it might be fun to test out.

What happens next?

A. Ellie offers him a blow job.

B. Ellie offers him a blow job but then tries to escape when his guard is down.

C. Mrs. Forge comes out.

D. Ellie offers to get cash from the Forges.
