EPILOGUE:

When the contest and subsequently the orgy ended, the mothers and the daughters in the contest returned to resume their normal day to day activities. Rochelle Hamilton, living in Dallas returned somewhat affected from her participation.

As matter of course Chloe engaged the services of Starikovich, Snyder and Company. Benefitting from Walter Snyder's investment skills, it wasn't too long before Chloe Hamilton became obscenely wealthy. Randy Hamilton, Chloe's husband, was a very successful attorney in LA. Starting with Charlotte Thornton, he developed a high profile Hollywood celebrity clientele and was duly promoted to senior partner of one of largest law firms in the west coast. As a result, Chloe and Randy became one of the most prominent couple in high society in southern California who were not in show business or in politics. Little did the public know that Chloe and Randy were also one of the most prominent couple in the swingers community as well.

Hannah Rose was content with her enjoyable and satisfactory, albeit unorthodox lifestyle. This was so despite having started with very normal ambitions and following a path of a typical American success story. Perhaps she had been too anal retentive in her desire to succeed in show business when she left school, but marrying a physician and quitting work to be a stay at home wife and mother certainly falls in the norm of desired achievement earmarked for females in the United States.

However after she gave birth to Pamela, her life took an abrupt turn from society's prescription for appropriate matrimonial behavior. Although she had been highly successful, the dog-eat-dog nature of competitive real estate market had started to sap Scarlett's energy and vitality. Besides considering her show business fame and success he tended to tamp down his arrogance when interacting with her.

By the same token, considering his own professional success, (Pamela was aware that upon his retirement he was deemed to be one of the great quarterbacks of all time in NFL history) he was naturally not in obsequious awe of her. Ergo there was a mutual respect towards each other's professional accomplishments which produced as normal an equal male-female personal relationship that could be expected under the circumstances.

Pamela had been disappointed in not winning the Mothers and Daughters contest, but then she realized that had they won, it would not have augmented her happiness or pleasure one iota in attending this particular orgy. Upon becoming aware of Vera's pregnancy, and to a lesser extent Natasha's at this orgy, she also realized that she had become somewhat jaded of her licentiousness. Of course it did not help the said Congressman that in a subsequent bid to become the Mayor of New York City he was exposed to another nude photo scandal.

Larry's father had given him a position in public relations for the family businesses. His father owned a conglomerate of business enterprises; the main being a chain of super markets located mostly in the south. Although Larry was competent in the assignment, he detested the job as he had no interest in the business. He constantly wanted to quit but he had the guilt feeling of disappointing his father were he to do so.

During the past football season Larry had accepted a limited assignment from one of the television networks to provide secondary analysis on some of the games. He proved to be remarkably ideal for the position and enjoyed receiving lots of positive feedback from viewers. As a result the network offered a permanent lucrative position for commentary on the pre-game and half-time shows for the next football season. Larry had been hesitant to accept. Since the show was based in the LA studios of the network, it would mean he would have to sever his ties with his father's business.

Happily Pamela's unexpected proposal made accepting the TV deal lot easier for his conscience. His father had been most enthusiastic of Pamela, and had been disappointed that their marriage was not more normal. The prospect of Larry moving out of his home to live with Pamela delighted him no end. Lamar assured Larry that he was not disappointed in his lack of interest in the family business; especially since Larry would start to actually reside with his wife. Besides the business would still stay in the Grant family, notwithstanding his absence. Larry's sister Mary had been working for the company for the past fifteen years minus maternity leave. She was definitely a competent successor. Besides it was always possible that her sister's children and his children in the future might keep the business still in the family.

Now the attractive work consequences for living with Pamela was not at all the primary factor or the sole reason for his acceptance to Pamela's suggestion that they try living more like a normal husband and wife. The nude picture scandal involving Jennifer Sturgis had spooked him to such an extent that he had become virtually celibate. And during this period of voluntary very little sexual activity, he was surprised that he did not feel deprived. Now what Pamela proposed by way of almost exclusivity was that they would remain faithful to each other with the exception of occasional visits to TLR orgies. Like Vera Starikovich, Pamela was not one to pamper herself, and slow down merely because she was pregnant. With the tremendous success of the Deep South Tour, demand to see her and her band perform, increased exponentially. As a result Pamela had Vera, as her agent, schedule for the foreseeable future, concert dates that would have her on tour an average of nine months out of twelve. And when she did get pregnant she did not let up. She quit performing about one month before her due date and resumed touring about one month after giving birth to Lamar.

With the view of maintaining an orthodox husband and wife relationship especially at home, Pamela obviously did not require her nanny to perform extra "special duties" à la Chloe Hamilton. In fact to avoid temptation for Larry, Pamela deliberately hired the nanny who was the least attractive in physical appearance amongst all those she had interviewed.

Pamela was determined to be a more active mother for her new son Lamar, than she had been with her first two children. Thus she decided to breast-feed him. As a result the nanny and her infant son accompanied her on tour. Larry also attended her concerts as often as he could; whenever his obligations to his TV job would not interfere. Such presence had the happy consequence that it removed any temptation for Pamela to have sex with any member of her band. With Pamela's desire accomplished; she and Larry became one of the hottest couple frequenting the TLR orgies, rivaling Chloe and Randy Hamilton. Whenever Natasha was able to join Pamela and her band for a special concert date, the resulting entertainment was always super spectacular. The audiences were truly thrilled and felt fortunate to be able to view it. The demand for attending such concerts vastly outstripped the capacity of the venues where the performances were held. As a result the tickets for such concerts were sold only by mail subscription and were distributed under a lottery system.

One concert that Natasha performed with Pamela became absolutely legendary and provocative. After the hyped almost naked Atlanta concert in the Deep South tour Pamela retained in the back of her mind a desire to perform one time totally naked along-side with Natasha; her band though would remain clothed. Happily Natasha had no problem with such plan.

Pamela's idea was that a onetime nude performance would make entertainment history for all time. It was to explore new horizons in public vocal poetry unfettered by normal clothing restraints. Of course no one paid any heed to such euphemistic and pretentious justification, but were only interested in gaining admittance to such a concert.

Pamela had some hope of acquiring permission to perform in the nude since naked female wrestling had been allowed in public arenas. However every significant municipality in the United States refused to allow such performance license. So Pamela had to look elsewhere to realize her ambition. As it so happened, the City of Rotterdam in liberal Holland had no such issues with Pamela's entertainment ideas. As Natasha was available for the concert in Pamela's European tour, the concert was duly scheduled.

Pamela was aware that Joe Cocker had performed in this same city in 2007 which performance was highlighted by one of his signature hit songs: "You Can Leave Your Hat On". Pamela felt that this song would be the most appropriate song to open the concert; and it was the only song she sang that night that was not composed by her.

Pamela was determined to equal the excitement of Cocker's electric performance. In addition to her band she acquired the services of some of the finest musicians in Europe to replicate Cocker's musical backing. Just like Cocker, she engaged a trio of female chorus singers to gyrate to her right as well as belt out the title of the song at the appropriate times. Natasha was to Pamela's left playing her violin. And next to Natasha was Lajos Kiraly playing his preferred Steinway piano. "I've kept in contact with my firm while away so I've no problems there except that I'm expected to be in the office tomorrow."

Greg fumed:

"So your work is more important than your husband?"

Vickie softly replied:

"Be reasonable Greg. You know that I'm a senior partner in the firm so it was not surprising that the firm demanded that I remain at least in daily contact."

Not softened at all, Greg groused:

"So what am I chop liver? That you felt it was unimportant to keep in touch with me?"
Vickie simply replied:

"I needed time to sort things out before I was ready to deal with you."

Incensed at the obvious reference to his adultery which tended to diminish his justification for his anger towards her, he retorted aggressively:

"God dam it Vickie! You know that the woman you caught me with meant nothing to me and to our marriage. If you had given me a chance to explain...."

Given her agenda Vickie did not want to go where Greg was heading, so she interrupted him:

"You're quite mistaken in you assumption, Greg, as I really don't give a shit at who you fuck apart from me. When I saw you in bed with the other woman, my main thought was simply that since you demonstrated failure to adhere to our wedding vows it must mean that I'm free to do so as well. "Careful at what you say Greg. If I leave now I won't return."

"But he is your son too."

"A simple DNA test can prove one way or the other."

That ended the confrontation. Vickie quietly left for the master bedroom, and packed an emergency supply of clothes. Then she gathered Greg Jr. and advised Tamika, the employed nanny, that she would be in touch later as soon as she made new living arrangements. Once she got in her car, she again drove two blocks and parked to ensure no interference from her husband.

She got a hold of one of her closest friends at her workplace, Desiree Jefferson, a paralegal in the firm, who lived with her mother. They definitely are interested in getting rid of the current corrupt Mayor and I have to decide soon if I want to contest against him. All the Party officials agree I have a great chance with Dianne campaigning by my side.

Her public recognition is sky high which easily overcomes the advantage of incumbency of my opponent. And of course unseating an incumbent Mayor is a great résumé enhancer for future higher offices. I also got the impression from the political professionals that I would have no chance without her against the current Mayor. They also feel that becoming Mayor of Atlanta is the better path for future political success than trying for Congress either the House or Senate."

"So you need to stay married but are you sure of Dianne's loyalty and for that matter compliancy considering her new love interest?"

As it turned out Vera and Walter had been actually contemplating opening an office in Atlanta for the past few months. Jed Baxter had advised them that Baxter and Sons would open a regional office in Atlanta, this coming September to better service their business holdings in the south. Now Jed did not blatantly suggest that Starikovich, Snyder ought to follow suit, but he did advise that he would need a local accountant for his Atlanta enterprise. Thus their business relations would be greatly enhanced if Vera and Walter would at least have a field office in the Georgia capital.

Walter and Vera were not averse to expanding. After all they had already established offices in New York, LA and Dallas beyond their home office in Chicago. However when they opened those offices, particularly the Dallas one, they had already lined up several clients to ensure viability of the branch office. Having Baxter & Sons as the only sure client, made the Georgia venture a little dicey. For that reason they had been hesitant in pulling the trigger, but considering the importance of Jed as a client, they realized they had to go to Georgia so as not to jeopardize losing him as a client. Therefore, he proposes to establish a trust fund for each child to mature when the child reaches the age of eighteen; at which time the fund can be utilized for education purposes. Details of such can be negotiated in due time.

In any case my client wishes to advise, that no matter the paternity, he wishes to have no further personal contact with either you or your mother. He believes it is in the best interest of your expected children that he not be actively involved in their lives, and he would not, therefore, seek any visitation rights. However, considering the successful music collaboration you and he have enjoyed in concerts and in recording sessions, he would have no objection to continued professional contact with you as negotiated from time to time by the respective agents.

I urge you to engage the services of an attorney to contact me so that these issues can be properly resolved."

As Natasha was reading this, she sensed a feeling of déjà vu, as she recalled Bolek Ostrowski's dismissive email, ending their affair. From her perspective both men were cowards. They were quite happy to receive her sexual favors but were found wanting in dealing with the consequences. She was totally furious as she apparently had grossly underestimated the character of each man, especially Lajos. Up to this point she was under the belief that Lajos and she were soul-mates destined for each other. She had deliberately set herself to bear a child by him on that premise alone. And now all was for naught, apparently only an illusion, and she couldn't be any more bitter.

Natasha got a hold of Vera who had elected to remain in Dallas after the orgy to work on St Clair's estate. She read Vera's letter to her mother, which letter was somewhat similar but with the appropriate changes. Vera was not so shocked since in her view Lajos' prolonged silence signaled such a response would be forthcoming. With her work load, it was impractical for Vera to return to Chicago immediately; so she asked Natasha to forward the letter so she could better deal with the matter. Natasha was happy to comply as she wanted time to analyze her own feelings before coming to a decision.

Vera did not return to Chicago until July as work in Dallas proved to be more exacting then she had expected. Plus she had to squeeze in a visit to Los Angeles to formalize her business with Chloe. And of course she dallied in Atlanta during the month of June supervising the opening of the firm's new office amongst other activities.

Natasha was grateful for the solitude as she contemplated her life forwards and backwards; sideways, and up and down. By the time Vera returned in time for the 4th of July Independence Day holiday, Natasha had come to a decision.

Almost as soon as Vera entered their Morton Grove home, and after suitable salutations were exchanged, Natasha told Vera:

"Mom I have given this matter serious thought for some time now. After carefully considering all the various alternatives, I've come to a decision. I want you to be the mother of my child in conjunction with being mother to your new child."

Vera protested:

"What? Natasha oh no! Don't be foolish. You're overwrought. You're not thinking sensibly."

Natasha replied:

"Hear me out please Mom. I have given the situation careful consideration. In fact I've done nothing else but think about it for the past two months ever since we received the letter from that lawyer. That's why I haven't rushed to see a lawyer until I ascertained my feelings."

Vera interjected:

"Yes I expect we ought to probably consult a lawyer together, once we resolve what to do. But anyway, why do you want to shirk your duty as a mother-to-be."

Natasha protested the implied abrogation of responsibility:

"You're mistaken mother, if you think I'm afraid of the responsibilities of motherhood. After all I deliberately avoided birth control so as to become pregnant. And I did this; mind you, completely unaware of your personal ambitions and intentions. So I definitely want my child and become a mother."

Hearing these words, shrugging her shoulders and splaying her hands, Vera uttered:

"So duh? What's the problem?"

"The problem is that I believed Lajos and I were soul-mates and meant for each other. True we weren't an orthodox couple with you in the picture, but still I had the notion that our child would be the natural product of our mystical union. Obviously I was naïve considering Lajos' shitty reaction to the news of our pregnancies."

Vera answered:

"Natasha I understand your feelings completely, I truly do, and I don't belittle them one bit. Still that has nothing to do with the question of you actually becoming a mother and your responsibility."

Natasha answered:

"I was looking forward to motherhood and I had great plans. But I want to do what's best for my baby. As a result of Lajos' abandonment, I know I've lost the ability to give the emotional love he/she is entitled to."

Vera scoffed:

"Oh come on Natasha, a child has no input on the circumstances of its conception. All it asks is to be loved. When I was pregnant with you I knew I could not give all the emotional love you deserved but still I was cognizant of my responsibility."

"That's not fair Mom. I'm not talking about abortion. I would never contemplate it. I'm evaluating what is best for my child. The point is you got pregnant this time because you always wanted a second child, and Lajos provided the right circumstances to accomplish this desire. Your love for your new child is not diminished by Lajos' indifference.

Thus raising my child will make no real difference to you as you will love them equally. You would not differentiate between child and grandchild; they would be both equally loveable to you. The lack of interest in them by their father would be no never mind to you. While instead each time I deal with my child I will only think of what a bastard his/her father is, and that cannot be good for a child to have a mother so bitter."

Vera was totally flabbergasted and replied:

"But Natasha that's not at all reasonable. You won't hold such a grudge forever. You'll get over your anger with Lajos and you will then love your child properly."

Natasha answered:

"Mebbe so. Who can foretell the future? You're probably right. I'll probably get over my anger with Lajos eventually and I may change my mind about taking care of my child later. But for now I definitely don't want to. You will make a wonderful mother for my child. After all you are its grandmother and grandchildren are just as precious as children. Besides in today's society lots of children are raised by their grandparents for one reason or another; so my child won't be unique in that regard. I also believe that even if I eventually do take over the care of my child he/she won't be harmed having been cared for initially by you exclusively."

Vera with regret accepted Natasha's decision. She knew it would be fruitless to try to change Natasha's mind given her present frame of mind especially as it seemed like she would remain adamant for the present. Besides it was not like Natasha would be totally absent unlike the father. And Vera had to concede that if Natasha subsequently wanted to finally take responsibility of her child such change of upbringing should not be traumatic for the child.

Curiously enough although Natasha was totally disgusted with Lajos, and now truly hated him, she was willing to continue to perform alongside him in chamber music recitals and to record music with him. Whatever the defects in his character, Natasha had to admit that he had to be the finest pianist accompanist that would be available for her in her career. And she wasn't worried about passion. Hatred is just as strong a passion as love. She sensed that there would be no reduction in the strong emotions emoted during their playing classical music together, and thus the performances would be as compelling as ever.

Once Natasha gave birth and quickly recovered from same, she embarked on an extensive concert tour. She had her mother, as her agent, book her solidly for the ensuing six months. Vera also squeezed Natasha to perform an occasional cross genre music concert with Pamela Rose as the mutual schedules would permit.

Natasha's revulsion to Lajos caused by his reaction to her pregnancy also had the effect of removing desire for having sex with her mother. The memories of the three of them having sex together had become too painful to contemplate continuing having sex with Vera. She had made the exception by participating in the Mothers and Daughters contest at the Mother's Day TLR orgy. However she viewed the sex at orgy simply as her indulging in carnal lust that she was normally prone to and especially in her pregnant state. She was otherwise not as emotionally invested like she had been with her relationship to Lajos.

Natasha thus became content to engaging in periodic sex with various admirers amongst her fans. Her intensive schedule did allow for a couple of weekends off, whereby she would fly to Dallas to indulge in a TLR orgy.

Just before the end of that initial concert tour, the National Philharmonic of Russia offered Natasha a contract initially for at least two years in duration for her to act as the Concertmaster of their orchestra. No doubt the fact that Natasha was fluent in Russian heightened their desire to engage her.

Since Natasha never had a permanent contract with the Chicago Symphony she was free to accept this offer. She did so with alacrity, as it would enhance her career substantially. The position provided valuable experience to develop the skills required for conducting and composing music: which were Natasha's ultimate career desires.

Not wishing to lose the availability of Natasha completely, considering what an audience draw she was, the Chicago Symphony offered a guaranteed fixed performance contract to fill in the time she was not required by the Russian contract. Thus her time between September and May was predominantly taken up performing either in Moscow or in Chicago. During the other months she occasionally recorded music usually accompanied by Lajos Kiraly. She was able to ignore her personal revulsion of Lajos to produce superb recordings which were received with great enthusiasm by classical music lovers and were the best selling classical music recordings of all time.

Considering her intensive career schedule, and coupled with the time she had to reside in Moscow, Natasha gave up any intention to raise her daughter. Her music career became her main driving force in her life. As a result of her talent coupled with her all consuming dedication, she became arguably the world's current greatest virtuoso violinist.

To solidify her musical career she teamed up with Boris Varennikov the premier viola musician of the Russian orchestra to promote an annual chamber music festival. The event was held outdoors near Tallinn, the capital city of Estonia during August. The festival consisted of various competitions to showcase the world's greatest chamber music musicians. Entry lists were limited to accomplished musicians with acknowledged international reputations; like for example Olivia Hartley who consistently performed in the festival.

With Natasha's popularity and highly acclaimed reputation established in the classical music world, she and Boris had no trouble in securing only the very best musicians; and the festival soon became recognized as the most important chamber music event in the international classical music calendar. Each festival opened with Natasha and Boris leading the Estonian Chamber Orchestra in a spectacular performance of Mozart's Sinfonia concertante for violin, viola and orchestra in E-flat major, K 364. In addition she and Boris with that local orchestra performed a newly composed chamber music symphony by her for the festival. Each such opening night concert was so well received that the success of the entire festival was assured.

As a matter of course, Boris and Natasha became lovers, and consequently her bitter disappointment with Lajos dissipated. Although she continued to periodically perform in recitals and record with him, she was never stressed over it. Despite the mutual indifference in their interactions, they were professional enough to still produce the finest music they were each capable of. Since her pregnancy from Lajos did not result in the happy serendipity she had envisioned, Natasha was not so anxious to get pregnant again. This was a good thing since Boris Varennikov was married and had four children; and was not eager to become a father for the fifth time.

Vera Starikovich had a very busy schedule after the orgy. Settling St Clair's estate proved to be a very intricate assignment. St Clair's material assets were spread as varied as possible to attract the least tax liability. As Vera had been St Clair's last accountant while he was alive she naturally was privy to the full scope of St Clair's wealth. Nevertheless assembling these assets for the purpose of orderly transfer to the beneficiaries, with the minimum tax liability was an arduous task. Naturally Vera, delegated a lot of the grunt work, but still her job as the executrix was time consuming.

While in Dallas in addition to the estate work, Vera also devoted some time to helping Isabel Diaz. Vera was determined to transform Isabel's dance studio into a successful operation. It was an unexplainable whim that prompted Vera to form the idea to assist the Argentine, but with the ensuing sex with Vickie that day, the whim became an imperative.

She formulated a solid business plan backed by a strong financial package which included investment capital from both Vickie and Kristina; the latter insisted in joining the venture as soon as she learned what Vera and Vickie were up to. Kristina's influence with her new high social contacts became a source of business for Isabel. Soon she had acquired more customers than she could have ever hoped for. By the end of the year, her dance studio was the most successful one of its kind in Dallas, and Isabel was thinking of expanding.

Also during May, Vera spent time in Los Angeles to help Chloe Hamilton start her own firm. With Chloe's almost immediate success, her firm became a most important client for Starikovich, Snyder and Company. Together with their show business clients, Vera's firm soon became one of the top five accounting firms in southern California. During June Vera was in Atlanta, establishing the new office in that city, and of course Vera had a very personal interest in supervising this office.

As a result Vera did not return home until the beginning of July; some two months after being hastily summoned temporarily to Dallas for that special final meeting with John St Clair. Within minutes of Vera entering the front door, Natasha confronted her, informing her of her decision to surrender her motherly duties to Vera.

As a result Vera was looking at the prospect of raising two children instead of one, but she was not apprehensive on that score. Her real concern was for Natasha's mental state and likely depression as a result of Lajos' decision as explained by his lawyer. However Natasha assured Vera she was OK and her decision was the best for her child even if only for a temporary basis.
So Vera accepted the decision and set up the house with the expectation of the new arrivals. After consulting a lawyer and overseas employment agency, Vera engaged the services of a nanny from Russia, whose name was Galina Rudnitsky. This ensured that Russian would be the language of the home and that her new child and grandchild would be fluent in the language. Although Vera did not follow Chloe's example of hiring a compliable nanny from Iceland, but in hiring Galina Vera ascertained first that her nanny would not be averse to special "extra duties"

Dr Barrett chastised Vera for not seeing her for more than two months and continuing working so hard during her pregnancy. Vera naturally pooh-poohed these concerns and all Dr Barrett could do was roll her eyes at Vera's nonchalance. Despite Dr Barrett's concern, Vera had an uneventful pregnancy free of any complications.

During the penultimate week in September, Vera and Natasha went into labor within hours of each other. Pursuant to Dr Barrett's privileges both went to Northwestern Central to have their babies. Vera gave birth to a girl some ten hours and a calendar day before Natasha gave birth to also a girl. Vera named her new daughter, Anastasia. Natasha, exercising for about the only time her motherly prerogative, named her child Zoya. Both Vera and Natasha laughed at the irony of their choices, representing the first and last letter of the alphabet; at least the English alphabet. Natasha wryly opined that at least there was a clue to remind anyone who was born first.

Vera and Natasha had consulted an attorney in Chicago to communicate with Lajos' New York attorney. After the appropriate DNA tests established Lajos paternity, a child support agreement was quickly drafted and executed without prolonged negotiations. Since Vera and Natasha really did not need any child support unlike the usual single mothers' situations, they were content with anything Lajos was prepared to pay.

Pursuant to the suggestion outlined in that initial letter by Lajos' lawyer, a mutual trust fund was set up for Anastasia and Zoya Starikovich. Lajos agreed to pay one thousand dollars per month into the fund representing five hundred dollars per child. Lajos agreed to allow Walter Snyder, Vera's partner to manage this trust fund.

Vera had her déjà-vu moment recalling Larry Grant's agreement to pay for Natasha's upbringing. Lajos's offer obviously was monetarily a lot less but nevertheless would prove to be very directly beneficial to these new girls. However just like Larry, Lajos' main impetus for paying was to ensure he would not have anything to do with her and the children he had sired.

When Vera returned to work after giving birth, Walter and Vera decided to reorganize their firm in light of the rapid expansion experienced during the past few months. They decided that each would spend four months total at an outside office. Twice a year each would spend a month at two of the outside offices to supervise and better coordinate that particular office with their main Chicago office. Walter would do the LA and New York offices, whereas Vera would do the Atlanta and Dallas offices.

Surprisingly, at least to Walter, Vera's trips to Atlanta proved to be very lucrative for the company. The new mayor of Atlanta steered all of the City independent accounting needs to Starikovich, Snyder and Company. Apparently the influence of the new mayor was overpowering enough to steer a lot of new clients to the firm such that this newest branch office became the most profitable outside of the main Chicago office.

Pursuant to this scheme Walter and Vera were each absent from Chicago for four months total in each year; and thus, they were both in Chicago concurrently only for four months. Linda and Vera took advantage of Walter's absences from Chicago to indulge their passion for each other. If Walter Snyder suspected any hanky-panky between his wife and his business partner, he never betrayed such suspicion to anyone. As Vera breast fed both Anastasia and Zoya, she was able to induce Linda to return a favor. By request Linda performed cunnilingus on Vera while Vera was breast feeding either her child or her grandchild.

Naturally when Vera was in Atlanta, she stayed at Vickie's to better facilitate their periodic affair. With each visit to Atlanta, Johnny Whitaker would be an occasional overnight visitor. Since some of Queen and Fish corporate clients were headquartered in Chicago, Vickie volunteered to travel to Chicago occasionally. Such liaison meetings, usually lasting about a week maximum, with such clients would be necessary and beneficial to the firm. These visits usually occurred during those four months when both Walter and Vera were in Chicago. However one such visit occurred when Walter was in New York; so that Vera, Linda and Vickie participated in a lesbian threesome.

In reflecting on her life, Vera marveled with satisfaction at how far she had come from a bold, brash thirteen year old pregnant girl running away from home so she could have her baby. She had succeeded in achieving her main ambition for herself. She had escaped the rural tedium of life in Crystal Spring MS. And she had succeeded in establishing a professional career far more successful beyond her most optimistic ambitions. Her only regret was that she had not achieved her secondary goal.

Because of her traditional Russian upbringing, and despite her main dreams, Vera harbored a latent desire to find Mr. Right. Such Mr. Right Vera had envisioned, would compliment her professional career and provide her with a passel of children to mother. Thus her overall desire would be to become a super woman ostensibly what the goal modern society has seemed to set for females to achieve.

Now of course she had no wish to equal her mother's output of nine children; but a goal of two children minimum, and four children maximum would seem appropriate for her desires. At least she successfully achieved in mothering three children. In light of Natasha's decision not to act as the mother, Vera became the de facto mother of Zoya.

As a result, Anastasia and Zoya grew up regarding themselves as full sisters ignoring their actual blood relationship. Furthermore, Zoya like Anastasia considered Natasha as "the Big Sister". Zoya basically overlooked the fact that Natasha was actually her mother. Instead she called Vera "mom" not "grandma", and in her mind viewed Vera as her true mother.

Alas for Vera the search for her Mr. Right proved to be terribly elusive. Looking back on it, Vicki had to admit that of the serious meaningful relationships she had, none of her male partners could possibly have become Mr. Right. Of course Richard Snyder, never mind the great success of their enjoyable relationship, was never regarded by Vera as a possible Mr. Right. Jed Baxter was married and for that matter was adamant against fathering any children with her. Even had their relationship lasted longer, and even if he would not have dumped her to return to his wife, he could not have fulfilled the role of Mr. Right. As for Lajos Kiraly, she had to share him with her daughter. Obviously no man could be a Mr. Right for two women even should such women be mother and daughter.

At least Vera had instead the alternative to enjoy the pleasures of Linda Snyder and Vickie Vargas, two Ms Rights so to speak. However for Vera, due to circumstances limiting the availability of each female partner, Vera's sexual desires were not always fulfill able by one of her Ms Rights. Luckily for Vera she could always resort to the dutiful Galina for emergency sexual relief; any port in a sexual storm so to speak.
