For a moment you find yourself blinded by light as your vision reactivates. You find yourself in your quarters on the YoRHa bunker, your operating system indicating that the year is 11950— five years following the machine war.

"Systems are online and vitals all seem to be in check." You are greeted by the voice of an unfamiliar operator unit.

"Can you hear me?" This voice was familiar. It belonged to the YoRHA commander. "9V, you may need to adjust their voice recognition settings. Welcome back 9S, it's been some time. We have just completed transferring your databanks into a new YoRHa hybrid organic unit. In order to help with the continued development of humanity we have developed new bodies for all remaining YoRHa units that mimic the functions of the human body while retaining all of the perks of an android's. For example, units now have a finely tuned nervous system as well as reproductive systems with the ability to carry and foster life from the cellular level."
