Pandora is a planet that was colonized in 5273 after the Earth was destroyed by warfare that claimed most of the population. Only a third of the population survived to make it to a new world after randomly jumping into a new galaxy. Nearly a hundred escape shuttles crashed on Pandora, bringing advanced weapons and technology to a world untouched by any sentient species.

Pandora is a planet that is made up of mostly oceans with only two large continents and several island chains. After the initial set up of the new planet for the humans, it was agreed that all technology and weapons would be locked away in special vaults so that they could not be used to destroy another planet. Life became simple for about two hundred years. Nations have risen up that seek the vaults and the power sealed within them.

The largest continent is ruled by the Empire of Veertor. This nation was created through bloodshed and lies. It’s current leader is Emperor Victor Veertor the third. This nation cares little about its people and only the rich have any real place in society. All men must serve a mandatory four year military career once they reach the age of eighteen.

The other continent is the Republic of Cryn, ruled by a group of elected officials. This continent’s people banded together to protect themselves from the Veertor Empire, and have since become a strong nation. Although not as strong with infantry, Cryn boasts a powerful navy as well as a network of spies and assassins.

Behind the scenes of both nations is the Church of Xelta. This organization was founded after the shuttle pilot Xelta Crews who died to bring his ship safely to Pandora. Although it started with good intentions of spreading peace and helping the less fortunate of the world, many of its officials have become corrupt.
Unlike the continents, the smaller islands have remained largely unaffected by the warfare. Adventurers, mercenaries, traders, and pirates travel the globe using the island chains as their homes.

Cast of (Main) Characters:

Veertor Empire:
Maria Glendal: A consort for Emperor Veertor. She was brought in to bare his children after it was discovered that his wife was infertile. She wants the throne for herself and will get it any way necessary, be it with her body or through murder.

Alexander Zarkov: General Zarkov is loyal to his emperor, but also a cruel and unfeeling man. He is currently leading the Veertor forces in a hunt for a vault on Windlow Island.

Republic of Cryn:

Shin Martau: An assassin working for the leaders of the Republic. Shin is a codename and the true identity and gender of this cold blooded assassin are unknown.

Reed Granz: A swordsman who has been assigned to protect the cargo ship “Destiny” as it makes its way to Windlow Island. The ship is actually a military ship transporting Shin Martau and a squad of assassins for a secret mission.

Church of Xelta:

High Priest Beldan: The rank of High Priest is the second highest office in the church. It is currently held by a fat man named Beldan who loves women and alcohol more than anything else in life. Beldan achieved his rank through bribes and hiring assassins to kill other candidates. Rumor has it that he enjoys taking liberties with the young women who join the church. Beldan is currently working to be the next Oracle of Xelta, the leader of the church.

Winlay Grace: A young maiden who recently joined the church hoping to help the world. She has no clue about the darkness hidden in some of the higher officials. How will this pure young woman survive in this deadly environment?

Islanders and Mercenaries:

Tir Anglar: A young man who sets out for a life of adventure. He joins a rowdy group of sailors in their quest for women and glory.

Sasha Grey: A mysterious young woman who can sense when she is near a vault. She can’t remember her past and doesn’t know where she came from.
