Pirates of the Crimson Nebula

Looking out of your cabin's window, you marvel at the beauty and ever-changing tunnel of supra-light speed. Colors and shapes pass by and disappear behind the ship as it speeds closer and closer to home.

The voyage aboard the Royal Saturn could not have been better. Three weeks sailing the star ways on the most luxurious cruise ship in the known galaxy was the best graduation present your fathers could have given you. With ports of call like Sevag 7, Rollad 3 and the Straeb Cluster, you've been from one end of the Commonwealth of Star Systems and back. It's a shame the cruise liner did not have Morgas 16 on its itinerary; you would have loved to find out if all the rumors about it were true. You guess your fathers weren't ready for you to be quite that grown up. After all, being their only "little" girl, it was hard enough on them that you finished your primary education and were preparing to enter the CSS Naval Academy in a couple of months. This cruise was probably the easiest way of "cutting the cord" for your two loving fathers.

You made sure to bring back several souvenirs for them and all of your friends and family, and of course many holos and vids to show them all. Although, there are several that you probably won't be showing anyone but yourself. No one really needs to know just how grown up you are.

There is a sense of melancholy as the voyage is coming to an end the next day when you dock at the Enslan Space Port. There is going to be a grand ball to commemorate the last "night" aboard ship, but you haven't decided if you're going to go or not. After all, there is plenty to do. You've made several friends and spending some time with them could be nice.
