It is 100,000 years since man first left Earth to settle the stars. In that time, he has filled several galaxies. Finding no other sentient life, man filled the gap himself. Over the millenia, through genetic engineering, specialized breeding, and brute mutation, man has transformed into a variety of forms, some so bizzare as to barely count as human.

At the present time, all of humanity is united in the Gishoran, ruled by the Arzasi Descended, posthuman entites who have chosen to return to human form and flesh while still retaining their awesome, godlike powers.

In order to quench the sexual desires they had given themselves, the Arzasi established the Harem Worlds. On these worlds, women (or men, or boys, or girls) live, work, and play, in ways that almost, almost seem normal. But these women are all concubines, the most beautiful adult females pan-humanity has produced, all exquisitely trained in the arts of pleasure, and all dedicated to providing it. They come in every shape, color, and flavor of loveliness, even many kinds of beauty that can be found nowhere else; women who are creatures of fantasy, women of the lost races of Ancient Earth, women who's charactersitics defy physics, all given life by the power of the Arzasi.

There are currently four Nation-States on 69 Seraglion: the Republic, the Kingdom, the Dominion, and the Wilds.

The Republic and the Kingdom are just that. The Kingdom's Monarchy is possible because the Arzasi will often take people from Men Harem Worlds and Women Harem Worlds and breed them to produce children who will become concubines themselves (and yes, the Kingdom has a King, who is a woman, and her Consort the Queen. Don't ask).

The Dominion is a totalitarian military dictatorship.

The Wilds is inhabited by two groups, the Barbarians, who's lifestyle matches their name, and the Ferals, who live and act like animals.

Currently, they're all at peace, although the Kingdom and the Dominion are fairly hostile to each other
