In the far off future of the Pokemon world, mankind is gone. There was an unexpected cataclysm brought on by one of their world wars that wiped them out.

All that was left was the Pokemon of the world and after being exposed to the radiation left from man's nuclear bombs they soon evolved (not in the usual way) into anthromorphic beings.

Centuries later, they became the rulers of the world and started a modern civilization on the planet similar to humanity. They wore clothes and spoke like people. Of course they still had their powers and able to evolve the same way. One big difference is that while they still lay eggs they no longer were limited by egg groups so they could breed with any Pokemon they wanted. Also the baby hatching from the eggs were not limited to the species of the mother. They a 40% chance of it being the father's species.
