It is the year 2087 by the old reckoning, or year 21 of the 'Pepsi' Colony. Tonight is an event of momentous import, 'The General', leader of the colony, is dying. He has been sick for months, and steadily growing sicker, but that is not why he is going to die: he is going to die because you are going to kill him.

When The General sized power in the colony he made a commandment that the rules for taking control from him were simple: every male member of the Pepsi colony who reached 'the Age of Favor' at 19 had to go out into the zombie infested wilderness surrounding the colony with only winter clothing and a knife and survive on his own for a month. If he could do that he could then return and try to kill The General, if he succeeded he became leader, if not, he would be tortured to death and left as bait in a zombie trap.

For the past 20 years no one has survived the month of ordeal, no one but you. You watched The General kill your father when you were scarce old enough to walk, and you walked young, and your mother raised you on stories of the time before, before "Armageddon" and the colony, when boys did not become fathers at 15 and die when their children were barely 4. You saw your mother whipped for trying to smuggle you a M48 tactical shovel as you were leaving, and IF she is still alive you will see her and everyone else liberated from this monster.

Your first challenge is to get back into the fortress. You know, or at least suspect, that The General has his Amazonian Guardswomen ordered to shoot any man who survives his trial before they can end his reign of tyranny. This calls for bold action, a daring plan, or perhaps subterfuge...
