Rosie's Day Off.

The summer holidays had flown by for Rosie Lancaster. Beach days, swimming in the local lake and all manner of embarrassing mishaps, all of which she shared with her best friend Jessica. As the holidays had drawn to a close, the responsibilities began to weigh on Rosie's shoulders, but at least she could see her other friends. She'd kept in touch with them over the summer, and had come to the realisation that she hadn't been the only one to bare all in public.

The first day of college rolled around, and whilst everyone else woke up bright-faced and eager, Rosie dragged herself from under the covers with a runny nose and a cold. Lugging herself into the kitchen, she sat down and sighed. "you feeling alright Rosie?" her mum questioned. She looked at her mum with eyes of sorrow, and her mum nodded. "always was the way with you. The first day and you come down with a stinker of a cold." her mum chuckled, and grabbed her bag. "sadly, you'll have to look after yourself. I'll let the college know you won't be in" her mum explained, wiggling her phone in her hand. she kissed her daughter on the forehead and hurried out the front door. Rosie poured herself some cereal and made her way back to her bedroom.

flicking through the channels on the TV, Rosie started to wonder if this day was going to be a dull one. She thought about her day at the lake with Jessie, and remembered how losing her clothes in public had made her feel. a wave of sexual excitement rippled through her and made her heart beat faster. Looking down at the clothes she was wearing, she wondered if she needed them. she shook her head, grabbed a towel and made her way to the bathroom. "a warm shower should clear my head." she said to herself. entering the bathroom, she threw her white t-shirt and black sweatpants onto the floor, and turned the shower on. she stepped under the showerhead, and let the water cascade down her body. she could feel her cold lifting, mainly due to the heavy amount of snot streaming from her nostrils. when she finished showering. she could feel that her nose was fully clear. "I knew that'd shift it," she exclaimed, grabbing her towel and rubbing herself dry.

Rosie was sat on her bed, legs outstretched, a towel wrapped around her body. she kicked her legs up and slinked over to her wardrobe. as she threw the doors open, she stopped herself. the words of her mum rang around her head. 'you'll have to look after yourself' she thought to herself. "I mean, I don't need to get dressed," she said to herself.
