To all Alfie fans, this sequel begins during the ending of chapter 15. I am making this because while I am waiting for the last pages to be published, I realized that I want more Alfie. The story connects to me on a personal level, so while I’ve been waiting my mind has exploded with possibilities as to how it could end. To those of you who have never read Alfie, it is a surprisingly sweet story for a NSFW web comic. I do advise you take the time to read the original work from the original author and artist, InCase, but here is what happened leading up to this moment.

Alfie Tolman is a halfling from her hometown of Pickering. Up to this point, Alfie herself was seen as a delicate little angel, whose only negative association was her family name being associated with liars, thieves, crooks, and sluts. They had little-to-no contact with humans until one day, a caravan of outsiders visited Pickering. This creates the iconic opening scene where Alfie spies on her best friend, Melly, cheating on her husband with a human. It is this same scene where Alfie meets a human named Marco Holt. Marco id essentially a blonde, prince charming like character who loves sex with hot women, and Alfie is looking pretty hot to him right now. This one moment opens a Pandora’s Box for Alfie, sparking new perspectives on love, sex, and the outside world.

A secondary main character is Alfie’s mother, Vera. Vera is a bit of a rough personality. She has been called a liar and a slut through most of her life and this has followed both her and Alfie. Vera is bossy and somewhat controlling, but she loves Alfie with all her heart. Vera sees unusual sex as sexually deviant and perverse. These feelings exist partially because of Pickering's cultural norms and because she is aware that her own husband regularly cheats on her with another man.

Behind Vera’s back, her husband Derik is cheating on her with another man, and Alfie is hanging out with Melly and the humans. Vera suspects little things here and there, but is too busy with her job as a leather worker because the caravan needs her services. It is at this time when Alfie and Marco finally have sex, making Alfie into a sexual deviant by the town’s standards.

Leading the caravan is a rich, eccentric elf named Duvain Alduin. He starts off asking Vera to make him private things such as leather wrist cuffs. This evolves into him wanting a full on BDSM outfit and he wants Vera to be his mistress. Vera sees him as a sick pervert, but as Alduin offers her more money and her husband cheats on her more and more, she slowly loses the urge to fight it and becomes Alduin’s high-paid prostitute.

Meanwhile, afraid of her mother’s wrath, Alfie keeps her relationship with Marco a secret. Marco then informs her that he can’t stay in Pickering because the caravan will be heading back to the outside world shortly. He proposes however that Alfie travels with them to see new sights and experience new things. Alfie is torn between her life in Pickering working for her mother as a leather worker or leaving and seeing the world.

At first, it seemed like Alfie’s fear of her mother kept her from wanting to leave. This all changed on a Pickering holiday called Kupala, where the men of the village attempt to woo the women. Alfie was seriously disinterested in the holiday this year and left to celebrate by herself. Melly went looking for her and found her drinking alone in the woods, which causes Melly to join her. They get drunk, have fun, one thing led to another, and then Alfie and Melly were having sex, which is a serious taboo in Pickering because they were both female. This ends when Vera finds the two of them and scolds them both.

With a severe rift between Vera and Alfie, nothing is the same anymore. Vera decides to cut all ties with Alduin and make things right with Alfie. Alfie however remembers Marco’s offer to leave with the caravan. To make matters worse, Alduin seized the opportunity and offered Alfie a job as the caravan’s leather worker, recognizing her mother’s skill in Alfie.

Vera comes home hoping Alfie is there only to find out that she left, eventually becoming obvious that Alfie is never coming back. This sends Vera on a rampage looking for answers until she finds and threatens Melly, who knows everything and tells it all. This creates the official end in Vera’s marriage, where her husband chooses to stay in Pickering and Vera vows to find Alfie at all cost.

On the road, Alfie befriends Lydia and Ozge. Lydia is a tall, strong, dark-skinned tomboy and a notorious lesbian. She loves Alfie and secretly loves Marco. Ozge is a Voch’khar, which is a race of goat people. She is hired to guide the caravan safely through a dangerous area known as the redwoods and is eventually hired to be Alfie’s personal bodyguard.

As the group travels together, their relationships get more complex and messy. Alfie has sex with Marco, Lydia, and eventually Ozge. Marco and Lydia love having sex with multiple partners without commitments, and so does Alfie. This gets complicated when Ozge gets involved because Ozge wants a committed relationship with Alfie. She tells Alfie that she loves her, but Alfie struggles to say it back. This group of friends falls apart when in fighting among the caravan members against Lydia and Marco labels Lydia a liar and a deviant for being a lesbian, and Marco a cheater for being with multiple partners.

This falls on Alfie’s shoulders to either tell the truth that she herself is a deviant like them or say that they are liars. Afraid of what the crowd would think of her, she betrays Lydia and Marco so that the crowd doesn’t think she is a liar and a slut. This costs Alfie her friends who now think of Alfie as a backstabbing liar.

Meanwhile, Vera is on her grand journey following the caravan’s path. Desperate for help, she enlists the help of a drunk mountain man named Cillian Baker. At first, Cillian completely disgusts her, then she sees he’s actually a gentleman. After getting to know him, she sympathizes with him. Over time, he reveals that he is from a port city in Lyone. There, he was a son of a whore, which followed him most of his life and bothered him deeply. He loved a serpent woman named Nadia. They were the best of friends, but they eventually went their separate ways because Cillian wanted a long-term, committed relationship with Nadia, but Nadia was a prostitute who craved sex with multiple partners and she wasn’t going to change who she was. This is why Cillian went mad, became a drunk, and left to live in the mountains.

Overtime, Vera grew to like him so much that a part of her started to love him. They started having sex more and more, learning more about each other, and eventually thinking about life after finding Alfie. Vera didn’t know if she could get Alfie to ever come back with her after what happened, but Cillian committed himself to continue helping Vera until she finally found Alfie.

Back at the Caravan, Alfie feels completely alone. Her new friends don’t know she’s a liar and a slut, and her old friends find her dishonesty unsettling. Lydia wants to beat Alfie up, while Ozge is advocating that Alfie tells the truth in front of everyone and accepts the consequences of her actions. Alfie eventually comes to terms with the fact that she did this to herself, people are judgmental pricks, she needs to stop worrying about what they think of her, and that her friends matter more than what random people think.

Not caring anymore, Alfie tells the truth, causing the rest of the caravan to hate her. She tells Ozge that she told the truth only to find out that their relationship will never be the same because from Ozge’s perspective, how can she be with someone who lies, hurts her friends, and can never be committed to one person. This hurts Alfie’s feeling, but she continues and finds Lydia. At first Lydia was a rude jerk, then Lydia half-forgave Alfie by forcefully fucking her. Marco sees the two of them messing around and is glad they made up. Alfie tried to make a heartfelt apology, but Marco accepted while at the same time, brushed it off, ignoring Alfie to fuck Lydia right in front of her. He brings up not wanting to get Lydia pregnant and judging by Lydia’s reaction to Alfie, she already is.

Alfie steps away to let them be alone and sees Ozge waiting outside their tent. Ozge heard everything and though she’s glad Alfie is okay, she is upset that Alfie was so willing to move on. Alfie then reminds her that Ozge was the one that broke up with her and that Alfie doesn’t need her approval to move on. Ozge doesn’t make a scene of it, but is clearly upset and walks away. Though the story continues from this point, this is the point where the alternative ending starts for “Saving Alfie.” There is sex, and I’m usually heavy on the sex, but this story is going to take it slow. My goal for the story is to take a darker turn that further explores the characters and the surrounding world they are in. Alfie will be kidnapped, sold into prostitution, and bought by a crual emperor who wishes to make Alfie one of his many wives. It is up to Vera, Cillian, Marco, Lydia, Ozge, and others to unite and save Alfie. Enjoy!
