Your name is Takashi Najiin, Tank for short. You are a marine aboard the Science frigate Prometheus. When you got the news that you were going to be posted on a science vessel you could hardly believe it. You posted top scores in both physical and mental military testing and were in the top five percent of graduates in the Academy back on Earth. You assumed you were far to promising a prospect to be posted on such a mundane assignment.

Your disappointment of quickly gave way to excitement as you began noticing the ship's personnel. On board the Prometheus you’ve seen some of the hottest women you’ve ever seen. From the Scientists, to the Crew and even your fellow marines, they all have something extremely alluring about them.

Many years ago when the first earth fleet was being assembled, Sociologists realized that women coped with the prolonged space tours much better than men. Women, it was believed, could handle the social and sexual tension better than their male counterparts. You, however, scored high enough on your psyche exams as to be deemed adaptable enough to go though the 8 to 10 month tours usually involved in space fairing.

The Prometheus is property of the Navy, but, its uses are not combat based. Sometimes the ship will go to remote systems to test new weapons and defense systems. Mostly the tests performed on the ship involve things too trivial for your tastes, such as gravity manipulation and planet system mapping. The reason marines are even needed on the ship is internal security and the terribly low chance of pirate attack. After all, you’re more likely to have a phase rifle explode in your hands than being attacked by pirates out in the expanse.

The Prometheus’ crew is about 90% female so out of 143 crew members that means a lot. There are three distinct groups aboard the ship, Marines, Scientists, and the crew. Most are Earth Human (especially the scientists) but from a variety of ethnicities. Earth is now run by a united government and English has become the official language. That’s not to say most other languages are extinct, it just means that almost everyone knows English as at least a second language. You yourself know Japanese. DNA restructuring was introduced centuries ago so none of the crew have any disabilities or chronic illnesses. In the last century they’ve even figured out how to change appearance, Leading to some very attractive humans.
