Shape Shifting Issues

Deep within an underground lair. A shadow of human being shifts as the shimmering lights casts a constant shadow along the murky walls. The walls, although made of stone have seemed to be integrated with a multitude of machinery.

We come upon our protagonist, Eli as his obvious laugh echoes through the bat-man-esque lab.

"This is it" I thought, turning to the computer I shout the name of the resident A.I "Pip my man! record this entry" immediately the screen behind me lights up but I had no need to look at it as I eye the vial that I hold between my fingers. "The machines are no longer fixated upon making flesh turn into pan cakes, it can now transmute the genetic makeup at a molecular level as accordance to my programming" and I smile as I take a closer look at the vial that at first glance seems like a black liquid, but in fact contains billions of nano-bots that are swimming around.

"Sir do you wish me to file this under failed attempt #9001st?" The voiced resounded from the screen, now showing a file being uploaded with it's name being _[Failed attempt #9001st] _I immediately turned around and asked "who programmed your sense of humor?" in which a prompt reply was "You did sir" raising my brow, I whip around once more and walked to a clearing within the lab, where the floor was tiled liked that of a morgue, it was quiet spacious here. In one hand I brandished a syringe, in the other the black vial of nano machines. As I walked I used the syringe to quickly draw up the liquid in one fell swoop, the blackness seemingly acting not like any other liquid as it moved into the tiny glass container of the syringe. With a snap of my fingers the lights above turned on, illuminating my white lab coat and white buttoned up shirt I wore for a few days straight.

"No pip!.... file this under the first successful clinical trial!" and with that I plunged down the needle into my right leg. Feeling the obvious sting, I squeeze the syringe, feeling the blackness flow into me surprisingly cold.
