Soft Girl visits Healer Witch ENF

Jessica is just like any other student in her early 20s, if not maybe a little sheltered. Some of her experiences in college thus far have brought her out of her shell a bit, and though she leans more introverted, she's almost always ready to try something new. Her upbringing has been fairly conservative, and while her kin might find her to be an adventurous young girl in college, most of her friends would describe her as prudish, albeit unintentionally. Even in her 20s, she'll still find herself getting embarrassed about changing in front of friends, or accidental wardrobe malfunction. Her friends often tried to reassure her that her body was nothing to be ashamed of, and Jessica wasn't closed off to the idea, although something deep inside of her couldn't shake off the discomfort of being exposed on that level.

Your 20s are, in most cases, the time in your life to experiment and try new things that may not have been as available to you as a younger person. This was one of Jessica's main takeaways from her first few semesters in school. That's why when her good friend referred her to a "healer witch," up the mountain, she accepted the offer with excitement. This witch was supposed to have some kind of healing powers that relieved physical tension - this, Jessica assumed would be something like a massage with perhaps some witchy "flair," but even still, the prospect sounded nice to her. The witch could also, according to her friend, change people on a mental level. This was something Jessica hadn't any prior experience with. She didn't know if this was coded language for drugs, meditation, or something she hadn't even thought of.

Her friend wouldn't give her very much background information, other than how to find the woman's mountainside home. It wasn't too complicated, just up a winding road that GPS couldn't always detect. The witch had a good amount of land, the wildlife flourishing. It was clear she maintained a large garden, and a variety of different animal species had found themselves drawn there.

Jessica knew she was here on planet earth, but this person's home seemed otherworldly. Sure, she'd seen well cared for gardens before, but something about this witch's land was more ethereal. Something she didn't have words for.

Walking up to the witch's front door almost seemed like an out of body experience - the sun was shining, the sounds of nature buzzed all around her, and she tapped her knuckle lightly on the door, almost trying not to disturb the peaceful atmosphere.

A woman who looked to be about forty answered. She definitely looked like a witch, or at least that's what Jessica thought not having had met many witches. The woman had long dark hair, unblemished skin, and several ear piercings. Jessica noticed a few small tattoos on her fingers. Her face was soft and comforting. Her clothes seemed fairly modern, although in perhaps a stereotypical fashion of a witch, she was all in black - A black dress, black coat, and black boots.

"It's so good to meet you, Jessica, I'm Natasha," the witch says to her, going in for an embrace, which surprised Jessica, given that they'd only just met, but she didn't honestly mind, the lady seemed nice.

She complimented Jessica's denim overalls, noting she hadn't thought they'd ever make a comeback, as a trend. Something about it made Jessica feel special.

"Come on in, let's have a little tea and get acquainted," Natasha said leading Jessica inside by hand. The witch's home looked as one might expect it to - but maybe a bit more organized than often depicted in media. Jessica noted Natasha's shelves of mason jars full of various herbs and tinctures. There were flowers and houseplants all along the walls. Incense burned and created a haze around everything. Some of the flowers almost seemed to be actively blooming as Jessica observed them more closely.

Natasha brewed them both water lily tea - the flower opened up gracefully in Jessica's cup. Something about the whole atmosphere seemed like a dream to Jessica - but maybe a kind of nice dream.

"So, Jessica, love, your friend told me just a little bit about you, that you're a literature student? I think that's just lovely, its such an important medium, especially these days."

Jessica felt a bit shy when talking about her studies, as most college students do, but Natasha didn't seem like she was heading toward any kind of lecture about "useful majors," as many older people tend to do. Jessica thought this witch was a pretty cool lady.

Natasha continued, "I don't know if you've ever sought out the services of a witch before, but I'll just go ahead and give you my basic spiel - I have the ability to heal you physically of anything that ails you, and in conjunction with that process, the inner workings of you mind and spirit will also heal, in a sense."

Jessica still couldn't quite understand the specifics of Natasha's process, but felt willing to roll with it. "That all sounds really nice. How exactly does it work?"

Natasha responded, "Its honestly a bit difficult to explain with words, it might make more sense if we just go through the process together. I'll definitely try to explain what's happening as best I can as things are happening. Would you feel maybe just starting things together?"

"Yeah, definitely," Jessica said smiling.
