The cool breeze of summer washes over you as you walk down the sun-beaten sidewalk of the city. You've always loved living in the urban environment, because everything is so close and you can walk from destination to destination. In fact, that's what you're doing right now. About an hour ago your ex, Anna, called you up for the first time in months; she said it was important and she needed you to come over. Anna had always been a bit cryptic, keeping things to herself, but this time it was different. After all, you'd been broken up for months. You thought you were past all of the games and mysteries, but it seems she has at least one more waiting for you.

You turn the corner of one of the city streets and realize you're almost to her place. This is a pilgrimage you used to make almost religiously while the two of you were together. Anna never seemed interested in going to your place, which was just a couple blocks away, but you didn't mind. Even in winter the city is a beautiful place, and Anna's apartment was always nicer than yours. As you near the door to her building, you wonder what might have changed.
