Dani was not the most conventionally attractive girl. She was short and fat, weighing 200 pounds at only five feet tall, and had frizzy orange hair and buck teeth. But there was nothing in the world she wanted more than to be a ballerina!

She'd been intimidated by the others in her ballet class. All of them regardless of gender were tall and trim, very athletic. Despite it being a beginners class, meaning none of them had prior ballet experience, most of them were experienced in gymnastics and other forms of dance. Still, despite her embarrassment, she enjoyed the class, and the first few weeks had passed without incident.
