It seemed a strange new development at first, to be sure.

The notion of eliminating nearly all sexual taboos in one fell swoop did not meet with complete acquiescence. But before too long, it was indeed the norm. Disease had been almost wholly eradicated and those few that still had transmission vectors were cured. Pregnancy was highly regulated with a combination of contraceptive prevention drugs available to both sexes with 100% efficacy, and easily reversible fertility and infertility treatments provided at no risk. With the dangers of casual encounters all but reduced to nil, old hangups began to melt away. A lessening of age-old repression led to more openness in sexuality, which led to more of society catering to open sexuality, further undoing the remaining repressions, which led to... well, to today.

The rules, scant as they are, seem quite simple. Anyone, male or female, is free to request or demand any sexual favor from anyone else at any time. Consent is still at play and important, and no one is ever forced to comply with a request that would lead outside their stated sexual orientation (unless being explored as a fetish), but requests seen as generally reasonable are rarely denied. And from here the new societal norms began to form. Performing sexual acts for strangers unreciprocated is seen as a courtesy, quite similar to any favor one might do out of kindness. It would then follow that asking for some favors might be considered inconvenient or even rude, but not due to their sexual nature- simply because of the logistical demand placed on the askee. Reciprocated acts between those of any level of familiarity, from the just-met to close friends, are common for the sake of pleasure alone. Individuals are encouraged to sate their own personal level of sexual desire and refusing to indulge one's libido is seen as unhealthy and dangerous. These levels of desire vary dramatically from person to person, and while true sexual monogamy is rarely seen any longer, neither end of the spectrum- from complete and constant promiscuity to nigh-asexuality- is seen as lesser or frowned upon. Similarly, level of dress is dictated by societal setting and personal style, but by and large loosened across the board. It is not uncommon to see what would be considered highly provocative or even fetish attire on the train, while formal events simply tolerate dresses with a bit more leg and décolletage.

Of course, when it comes to specifics not everyone is equally into or open to every kink, but most are willing to experiment with new things and at least offer their best effort while being used to enjoy the requests made. For some, the language associated with the more repressed sexuality is a kink unto itself, so much of the "dirty talk" of the old world remains and is in some cases imbued with new weight. Desirable. promiscuous women proudly assert themselves to be sluts, and sluts are held in generally high esteem. Some, by choice, immerse themselves in the dominance/submission lifestyle to such an extent that they are available full-time to an individual or group for sexual service, their basic needs and more fully met as an alternative to traditional employment or "house duty." Additionally, all laws and taboos restricting the open practice of sex work has been relaxed. Prostitution, sexual performance and other services are simply seen as valid career paths for those with the skill and desire to pursue them- though the standards within are considerably higher than in the old world, seeing as nearly anyone walking along the sidewalk is simply willing or even eager to fuck at a moment's notice.

You are John Doe, a reasonably successful manager at an analytics firm. You have an extremely high libido and tend to be quite dominant; the trappings of the Free World suit you just fine. You are unmarried, but not necessarily unwilling to consider the idea. For the moment, however, you seek variety in your sexual encounters and a reliable level of high-quality options available on a daily basis. You wish to perform your job well, but maintain quite a sexually-charged environment in the office.

You're happy. You're not entirely certain what's over the horizon, but you welcome the uncertainty. For now, you have no trouble getting up in the morning, executing your routine, or getting to sleep at night.
