The Goddess Chronicles.

In the early days of earth's creation, there were heavenly entities that oversaw the creation and development of the planets surface and the living species that called the planet home. The main overseers were the four Natural Goddesses, who would create and nurture the landscape, sculpting it to be perfectly stable and harmonious. The four Natural Goddesses were Pyra Goddess of Fire, Aqua Goddess of Water, Fauna Goddess of Land and Oxiya Goddess of Air. These four goddesses would work together, making sure that the people they had helped to create would live comfortably and without fear. However, as the human race became more independent and developed their own ideologies, the goddesses noticed that less and fewer people believed in them. Their legacies faded into myths, their existence forgotten, lost in the midst of time itself.

It had been a normal sunny morning, and Fauna was tending to her bountiful garden. Flowers, fruits, vegetables and various other plants surrounded her, and the garden was bursting with colour and variety. Fauna was around 5 foot 6, with long dark green hair that flowed down her back, stopping just above her bottom. She was wrapped in a thin white cloth, which was the normal clothing for goddesses. She wandered over to an apple tree, plucked a shiny green apple from the branches and rubbed it against her arm. "nothing like some fresh fruit in the morning" she cheerily said to herself. As she was about to take a bite out of the apple, the gate flew open. Pyra hurried over to her, waving her arms around. "Fauna, come quick! the boss wants to tell us something!" Pyra was the same height as Fauna, with glowing orange hair and lightly singed clothing. Fauna placed the apple back in the tree and allowed herself to be pulled along by her fiery friend.

The two goddesses finally reached the great temple. Waiting outside were Aqua and Oxiya. Aqua and Oxiya were the same height as Fauna and Pyra, with the same long flowing hair running down their backs. Aqua's hair was a mix of light and dark blue, whilst Oxiya's hair was plain white. "you finally made it" Oxiya exclaimed, pushing the doors open to let themselves in. When they entered, they were greeted by the Zeus, the king of the gods. The four girls dropped to their knees in front of him, heads hung and hands clasped together. Zeus laughed. "that never gets old. On your feet you lot" The girls got up and looked up to the god. "what did you summon us for?" Aqua asked, her brain trying to figure out what was happening. "yeah. the last time you summoned us was when the planet was completed" Pyra added. "I want you to do a little something for me" he announced, capturing the girl's attention. "I want you to go down to earth, see what you can find out about the modern world. After all, times have changed greatly, and we know nothing about their world" Oxiya chuckled. "you want us to go down to earth for research purposes?" she said, eyes wide. "exactly, yes" he replied, laughing. The girls looked at each other, surprised. "sure, we'll do it!" Fauna announced, catching everyone by surprise. Zeus left, and a portal opened where he had been standing. The four goddesses both looked at the portal and sighed. "right, which one of us is going first?" Oxiya asked, looking at the other girls.
