The two of you had moved back to your old hometown; it just felt right. It wasn't too large like the big city you and Tegan went to college in and you knew almost everyone there. Tegan had always compared it to that town from Gilmore Girls, but you could never remember the name. Still, it was a beautiful town and the perfect place to start your life together.

Your job was in the city about thirty minutes away. Your father had started a law firm there that you were to take over once you graduated. At your own insistance, you let Aubrey Black, your father's managing partner, continue to run the firm. You took more of a CFO role, becoming Aubrey's right-hand man. You wanted to learn everything you could from her.

Of course, this kept you quite busy, but you were sure you'd fall into a rhythm soon!
