Standing at the center of a room in his mansion, Erik Parker placed seventeen candles in a cirle and lighted them up, while thinking about the past weeks.
Three months before, he found a dusty old spellbook in his mansion's library. Seemingly untouched for decades, if not centuries, it emanated a faint glow and warmth. Being a competent summoner himself, he decided to study it, curious about any possibly useful new summoning rituals he could use.
He read the first page of the tome, where the first ritual's title was: "Cat demon summoning! Perfect for when you are feeling lonely!", followed by a fine script which he read with difficulty: "Warning: there's a 50% chance the cat demon will try to eat your hand when you pet him; the author does not assume any legal responsibility for the eventual injuries that may happen to the users of this ritual."
He turned the page, hoping the second ritual would be more useful.
"Out of sugar? Don't worry! This simple incantation will summon a hundred beehives in your garden! (warning: the bees might not like being suddenly transported through the fabric of space and time, the author does not assume any legal responsibilty for the damage they may cause to any person, animal or property."
He browsed the following pages, which for some reason all resembled advertisements for useless, and suspicious, products.
"Ever wanted a bigger penis? This simple incantation will make it 10% longer! Try it now!"
"Want to lose a few kilograms? With this useful and practical spell, you can reduce the fat in your body by 20%, in a week! What are you waiting for?"
"Why waste your time chasing after girls? This summoning ritual will conjure a horny girl directly on your bed! Far more practical, and no unplanned consequences!"
It was only after about a hundred pages of useless spells like those that finally Erik got to some useful incantation: from guard animals summons, to bringing forth the ghosts of the recently dead. What caught his eyes, however, was a peculiar ritual used to summon an interesting demon that he never heard about: an Allure demon. He carefully read its description.
