Five years ago, Joanna DiSanto was a normal business woman on her way home after a busy day at work. As she was walking along, an old woman bumped into her and told her that she would go on to change the world, Joanna just shook her head and kept walking to her studio apartment. Suddenly she became aware of squealing brakes behind her, she moved as fast as she could in her high heels and was able to get out of the way of the tanker before it smashed into her, but she wasn't so lucky with the contents of the tanker. It was carrying an experimental drug that could enhance a normal persons strength, speed and their stamina.

However, what the scientists did not know, was that the drug had a side affect, it would leave the person exposed to the drug to hypnosis and mind control. Joanna didn't care about all that or indeed know about it, all she wanted to do was get home and showered to try to get this stuff off of her. Before she could take another step however, she collapsed on the pavement.

Waking up in the hospital, she noticed that she was in an isolation ward.

"W-where am I?"

"Miss DiSanto, I'm Doctor Jack Turner. You're currently in the isolation ward of the University Hospital. Do you remember anything that happened to you?"

"I remember hearing brakes behind me and then smashing and then being covered in some weird liquid, but after that I don't have a clue."

"Okay, well, you did ingest a fair amount of that liquid, so I want to run some tests on you to make sure you're alright to go home."
