The Vacation

"John, wake up!"

I slowly open my eyes to see that it was my sister that said that. I can see and feel her shaking me back and forth to wake me up, along with her friends watching me and laughing.

"I can't believe you fell asleep like that. The drive wasn't even that bad!" your sister whines.

"Pretty easy for you to say that, when you weren't the one driving most of the time." I shoot back at her, before yawning and stretching.

She rolls her eyes at me and says "Whatever, just help bring the luggage in."

I climb out of the passenger seat of our van and walk around to the trunk. As I open it, I begin to wonder how I ended up in this situation. I remember my parents just telling me out of the blue that I'll need to go with my sister and her friends on their vacation to keep an eye on them and make sure they don't do anything bad. Luckily for me though, we're staying at my grandparent's beach house, which has enough bedrooms so that I can have my own bed, instead of having to sleep on the couch the entire time.

I'm John. I'm about 6 foot 2, I have brown hair, and I'm a pretty fit guy, as I have a good amount of muscle but I'm still pretty slim. I've been described as being handsome, and I've even caught my sister's friends looking at me every now and then, much to her dismay. I'm wearing a tight black shirt, tan shorts, and a pair of sandals.

I finally open up the trunk completely and look at all the luggage bags. I grab mine and decide I could also carry someone elses bag.
