This story is about John, a 23-year old guy who lives in New-York City.

He is a senior in the NY University. He studies to become a doctor. Although he has difficulties this year; his father died during the first exams period. That means that his results were catastrophic.

On a certain day, John is walking back home from school, when suddenly he hears a man screaming followed by a metallic crash. He turns around and sees a man lying on the ground. That guy got hit by that car. The driver gets out of his car and looks at the man. He probably thinks he's dead 'cause the driver jumps back in his car and drives away.

John runs to the injured man and talks to him: "are you alright?!" The man opens his eyes and says to john: "Take... the bracelet... take it... dont let the cops have it... uhhh!" He is dead. John hears sirens . The cops.. He doesn't hesitates for a second and he takes the bracelet and runs away.

John didn't stop running until he was back home. He goes to his room to examine his bracelet. Once he arrives in his room he takes the bracelet out of his pocket. It's a black bracelet full of buttons. One button is red and it says "on". So John pushes on ON.
