The World of Rayhem

Hello everyone! Longtime lurker here, finally trying to make something for y’all.

First things first, this story is inspired by Welcome to Bulwark from awesome author NeedAMedic. Check her out! Her work on Bravos Feminine over here is amazing!

Second, to explain things: this story works in a different way. In this first chapter, I’ll post some characters sheets, who will be the main characters of the different stories we will have here. These sheets are important because they’ll define the strengths of those characters. The story will work like a game, a roleplaying one: every chapter things will happen and many of these may include tests, like climbing a wall or investigating a crime scene. When those happen I will roll a d20 and add the result to the character correspondent modifier, and based on success or failure different things may happen. At the end of each chapter, I’ll open a vote about what do you guys want the character to do, with personal suggestions welcome (though I may judge if the character would do that – a good character won’t go around raping people, for example – and may not allow certain things). I’ll also post a date on which the vote will end; after it, I’ll start working on the chapter and, when it’s finished, it will go here.

To play this like an RPG I’ll use a simplified version of DnD 5e. By that, I mean that the characters will have stats (their attributes will be rolled by me), classes (from the main options from 5e), Race and Proficiencies. They will not, however, have skills like athletics and acrobatics: instead, they will make many proficiency checks, with those stats in which they have proficiency receiving a proficiency bonus (which starts at +2). Traits and features will largely be the same but simplified in writing so as to not make these sheets too long.

Aside from that, there will also be a lust system. A character may be a victim of a sexual attack in the middle of battle, in which case I will roll a d20. The result of this d20 will be multiplied by the sexual experience of the character: Virgin (x2), Had Sex (x1.5), Experienced (x1), Really Experienced (0.75x), Really Gets Around (x0.5). When the lust of a character reaches 100%, he or she will orgasm, which gets them one exhaustion point. Should a character orgasm three times in battle, he or she will be knocked out.

For now, that is basically what you need to know. I’ll try to answer any questions and, if there’s a demand for it, I’ll create a page for rules and characters sheets that you may make to try your hand at this system. For now, I guess that’s it, and I hope you all enjoy it!

Once upon a time, Mydalos was a great kingdom. Some say the greatest that ever lived, with even the empire fearing it’s might. That time, if it ever existed, is long gone; as the years passed, Mydalos grew weaker and smaller in size. In the current age, while still large, it is a decadent kingdom with bandits roaming the countryside.

Which, of course, makes it a prime target for happy-go-luck, upcoming “heroes”, such as Bal.

Son of the legendary knight Drakor, Bal was trained in the ways of fighting from a very young age. Blessed with a strong and healthy body, Bal stands stronger and taller than most, and with the weapons and armor left by his beloved father, he is a more than intimidating figure to meet on a battlefield.

This helps hide the fact that most of the time he has no idea of what he is doing. With more brawns than sense and seeing his life as a big adventure that will land him plenty of riches and ladies, Bal is a naïve, if genuinely good and talented fighter.

“The Three Duchies” – as is know the land governed by the Grand Duchies of Graypost, Gumush and Bearsia – are known and respected across all lands for boasting some of the most impressive mercenaries mankind has ever seen. With great quality at sale for those willing to pay the price, the fame of it’s sellswords and the search for them grows with every year.

Of course, every place that holds the best will also hold some of the worst who try to take advantage of this. And as far as Enrico is aware, neither of those is a position you’re gonna want to see yourself into.

Born a slave, freed by his own wits, Enrico fancies himself a charming, daring rogue. Reality is not exactly how he would like it to be, but nonetheless he is a pretty competent man of nimble fingers and a sharper-than-safe tongue. And although he sees himself as a daring man, he is also in no hurry to a early grave. That is why, in his small house at Eddinwood, a small city at the Grand Duchy of Gumush, he takes care to tread the fine line between being a good and a bad professional, keeping himself in what he calls “the sweet spot”.
